Season-over-Season, UniMás Reports Double-Digit Percentage Increases Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 9, 2016 to May 15, 2016

  • UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the second consecutive Saturday night, beating Telemundo with Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), Adults 18-49 (+30%) and young Adults 18-34 (+32%).

– Season-to-date, UniMás ranks as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+6%), Adults 18-49 (+15%) and young Adults 18-34 (+16%).  Furthermore. thus far in 2nd quarter, UniMás has out-ranked Telemundo on 6 out of 7 Saturday nights.

– UniMás kicked off the night with a Cine Cantinflas movie presentation of “El Bombero Atomico.” The film reported double-digit percentage increases over last week’s title, “El Supersabio,” and attracted 859,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+45%), 361,000 Adults 18-49 (+47%) and 141,000 young Adults 18-34 (+34%)

– The 9pm feature film “Collision” built on its lead-in and delivered 920,000 Total Viewers 2+, 481,000 Adults 18-49 and 208,000 young Adults 18-34.

  • In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+13%) during broadcast prime.
  • During its finale week (Monday-Friday), the dramatic series “Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas” built its week-over-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 752,000), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 414,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+2% to 184,000).

– On Sunday night, the grand finale of “Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas” attracted 903,000 Total Viewers 2+, 455,000 Adults 18-49 and 187,000 young Adults 18-34

  • Versus the same week a year ago (05/11/15 – 05/17/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+22%), Adults 18-49 (+21%) and young Adults 18-34 (+15%).
  • UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+35%), Adults 18-49 (+53%) and young Adults 18-34 (+49%) viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.
