On Sunday, the Súper Clásico Helped Univision to Rank No. 1 Among Young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 9, 2016 to May 15, 2016

  • On Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 1 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49…

– Airing 630-9pm (and simulcast on UDN), the Súper Clásico match “América vs. Guadalajara” averaged 2.7 million Total Viewers 2+ and 1.6 million Adults 18-49.  Viewership was the best for any Liga Mx playoff match since the 2014 Apertura Final on Univision.

– Airing 9-11pm, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+27% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+31% to 1.1 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+31% to 510,000).

  • Last week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Also, Univision saw week-to-week growth (+11% Total Viewers 2+, +21% Adults 18-49 and +24% young Adults 18-34) and out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on three nights among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
  • Airing M-F 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 733,000 Adults 18-49 and 359,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Next, “Yago” averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 736,000 Adults 18-49 and 352,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 10pm, “El Hotel de los Secretos” (The Hotel of Secrets) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 1.8 million), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 868,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+9% to 360,000).
  • On Saturday, Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming CBS and FOX in both demographics…

– Airing 730-10pm, the Liga Mx match “Monterrey vs. Tigres” averaged 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 726,000 Adults 18-49 and 254,000 young Adults 18-34.

– Next, “Cronicas de Sabado” saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+9% to 580,000).
