UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 11, 2016 to April 17, 2016
UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the fifteenth consecutive Saturday night, beating Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+26%) and young Adults 18-34 (+71%). UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+18%) for the sixth consecutive Saturday night.
- Season-to-date, UniMás ranks as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+4%), Adults 18-49 (+14%) and young Adults 18-34 (+13%).
- UniMás kicked off the night with a special movie presentation of “Selena.” The film attracted 904,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), 399,000 Adults 18-49 (+17%) and 231,000 young Adults 18-34 (+46%) increasing its audience over the prior week’s title “El Mago,”
- Following at 9:30pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “The Heroic Trio” delivered 583,000 Total Viewers 2+, 287,000 Adults 18-49 and 142,000 young Adults 18-34
- UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out-delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche” and “Reina del Sur” with young Adults 18-34.
Versus the same week a year ago (04/13/15 – 04/19/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+3%).
In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+9%) and young Adults 18-34 (+6%) during broadcast prime.
The Monday-Friday 8pm “Rosa de Guadalupe” built its week-over-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 538,000), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 281,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+17% to 140,000).
Airing at 9pm, the Monday-Friday dramatic series “Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas” built its week-over-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 714,000), Adults 18-49 (+11% to 395,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+9% to 176,000).
UniMás’ dramatic series “La Viuda Negra 2” (Black Widow 2) built it audience at 10pm among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 648,000), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 358,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+13% to 150,000).
UniMás, on average, delivered more among Total Viewers 2+ (+68%) and more than double the Adults 18-49 (+105%) and young Adults 18-34 (+116%) viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.
