UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 21, 2016 to March 27, 2016
- UniMás delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+43%), Adults 18-49 (+85%) and young Adults 18-34 (+87%) than Telemundo on Friday night. The 9:30pm National Team soccer match between Canada and Mexico attracted 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 Million Adults 18-49 and 610,000 young Adults 18-34 to the network on Friday.
- UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network, delivering more viewers than Telemundo for the entire weekend among Total Viewers 2+ (+54%), Adults 18-49 (+64%) and young Adults 18-34 viewers (+51%). In fact, season-to-date, UniMás is the top pick over Telemundo for the entire weekend with Total Viewers 2+ (+3%), Adults 18-49 (+8%) and young Adults 18-34 (+3%).
- UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the twelfth consecutive Saturday night beating Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+108%) and young Adults 18-34 (+81%). UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+81%) for the third consecutive Saturday night.
- Season-to-date, UniMás ranks as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+3%), Adults 18-49 (+12%) and young Adults 18-34 (+11%).
- Kicking off the night with the Cine Cantinflas film “El Padrecito,” UniMás averaged 915,000 Total Viewers 2+, 394,000 Adults 18-49 and 166,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Following at 9:30pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “The Three Stooges” delivered 870,000 Total Viewers 2+, 434,000 Adults 18-49 and 197,000 young Adults 18-34.
- In fact, UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out-delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche” and “Biblia” with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- On Sunday night, UniMás maintained its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo for the fourth consecutive week, attracting more Adults 18-49 (+41%) and young Adults 18-34 (+33%). UniMás also beat Telemundo for the third consecutive Sunday with Total Viewers 2+ (+37%). Thus far in the season, UniMás outranks Telemundo on Sunday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%).
- UniMás’ 7pm feature film presentation “Dinosaur” garnered 656,000 Total Viewers 2+, 380,000 Adults 18-49 and 163,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Following at 8:30pm, the special film presentation of “The Passion of the Christ” averaged 977,000 Total Viewers 2+, 489,000 Adults 18-49 and 202,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Airing at 9pm, the Monday-Friday dramatic series “Lady, la Vendedora de Rosas” built its week-over-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 769,000), Adults 18-49 (+1% to 437,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+4% to 205,000).
- UniMás’ dramatic series “La Viuda Negra 2” (Black Widow 2) built its audience at 10pm among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 728,000), Adults 18-49 (+14% to 412,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+25% to 194,000).
- Versus the same week a year ago (03/23/15 – 03/29/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+32%), Adults 18-49 (+22%) and young Adults 18-34 (+18%).
- In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+6%) during broadcast prime.
- UniMás, on average, delivered more than double the viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax among Total Viewers 2+ (+105%), Adults 18-49 (+175%) and young Adults 18-34 (+176%).
