UniMás Outperformed Telemundo On Saturday and Sunday with Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of February 29, 2016 to March 6, 2016

  • UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network beating Telemundo for the entire weekend among Adults 18-49 (+8%) and young Adults 18-34 (+14%).
  • UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the ninth consecutive Saturday night and reported double-digit percentage gains over with Adults 18-49 (+15%) and young Adults 18-34 (+28%).
    • Airing a live Liga Mexicana soccer match between Queretaro and Guadalajara, UniMás attracted 610,000 Total Viewers 2+, 328,000 Adults 18-49 and 167,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Following at 9:30pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “Girl in Progress” averaged 471,000 Total Viewers 2+, 280,000 Adults 18-49 and 117,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás maintained its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network from the prior night over Telemundo among Adults 18-49 (+4%) and young Adults 18-34 (+5%).
    • UniMás kicked off the night with a special presentation of its new dramatic series “La Viuda Negra 2.” The 7pm telecast garnered 474,000 Total Viewers 2+, 231,000 Adults 18-49 and 110,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Following at 8pm, UniMás’ feature presentation “Unstoppable” built on its lead-in and attracted 879,000 Total Viewers 2+, 458,000 Adults 18-49 and 228,000 young Adults 18-34.  Airing head-to-head against Telemundo’s “Gran Hermano” among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+24%) and young Adults 18-34 (+29%).
    • At 10pm, La Galaxy and DC United faced off in a Major League Soccer Match and delivered 468,000 Total Viewers 2+, 252,000 Adults 18-49 and 121,000 young Adults 18-34. The MLS match beat Telemundo’s “Ya Era Hora” by +26% among Adults 18-49 and +22% among young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing at 9pm, the Monday-Friday dramatic series “Lady La Vendedora de Rosas” saw week-over-week audience gains with Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 711,000), Adults 18-49 (+9% to 420,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+12% to 209,000).
  • UniMás premiered dramatic series “La Viuda Negra 2” (Black Widow 2) at 10pm.  The new season attracted more viewers than its predecessor’s (“Ruta 35”) prior week performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+29% to 606,000), Adults 18-49 (+36% to 356,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+19% to 179,000).
  • UniMás reported week-over week primetime audience gains of +1% among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
  • Versus the same week a year ago (03/02/15 – 03/08/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and young Adults 18-34 (+20%).
  • In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%) during broadcast prime.
  • UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax among Total Viewers 2+ (+36%), Adults 18-49 (+92%) and more than double the young Adults 18-34 (+106%).
