UNIVISION DEPORTES DELIVERS LIVE COVERAGE OF FIFA ELECTIONS FOR PRESIDENT
Elections will air on a special LIVE edition of Linea de Cuatro “Linea de Cuatro Edición Especial, Elecciones Presidenciales de la FIFA” Friday, February 26th at 6:50 a.m. ET/ 5:50 a.m. CT
Coverage will begin as of Wednesday, February 24th on UDN shows with a special correspondent reporting from Zurich
WHAT: This Friday, February 26th will be one of the most important moments in FIFA’s history, when the world’s football governing body will convene in the 2016 FIFA Extraordinary Congress to elect its next president, the successor to Sepp Blatter. As the leader in Spanish-language sports coverage in the U.S, Univision Deportes will be on-site to bring viewers up to the minute coverage, interviews with the candidates and expert commentary.
Univision Deportes will bring LIVE continuous coverage of the elections via a special edition of Linea de Cuatro: “Linea de Cuatro Edición Especial, Elecciones Presidenciales de la FIFA,” (Linea de Cuatro Special Edition, FIFA Presidential Elections). The special is set to include four hours of coverage, but will not conclude until the new FIFA President is elected.
Covering live will be Alejandro Berry, Luis Omar Tapia, Diego Balado, Hristo Stoichkov, Enrique Borja, Gonzalo Pineda, Flix Fernández. Pablo Ramírez and Ana Caty Hernández. Coverage will feature live interviews with three of the five candidates: Prince Ali Al Hussein, Jerome Champagne and Gianni Infantino.

QUÉ: Este viernes, 26 de febrero será uno de los momentos más importantes en la historia de la FIFA, pues la entidad que rige el fútbol en el mundo se congregará para un Congreso Extraordinario de la FIFA de 2016 para elegir a su próximo presidente, el sucesor a Sepp Blatter. Univision Deportes ofrecerá cobertura continua EN VIVO de las elecciones vía una edición especial de Línea de Cuatro “Línea de Cuatro Edición Especial, Elecciones Presidenciales de la FIFA”. Se tiene programado que el especial incluya cuatro horas de cobertura, pero no concluirá hasta que se elija al próximo presidente de la FIFA.
Ofrecerán cobertura en vivo Alejandro Berry, Luis Omar Tapia, Diego Balado, Hristo Stoichkov, Enrique Borja, Gonzalo Pineda, Flix Fernández, Pablo Ramírez y Ana Caty Hernández.
