The Groups and Matchups for the 2016 Copa America Centenario Draw will finally be revealed and will air LIVE from New York City on Univision Deportes on Sunday, February 21st at 8:00 p.m. ET/ 7:00 p.m. CT
The Draw will be followed by a one- hour post-event LIVE commentary on Linea de 4 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT
WHAT: This summer, America will be united on Univision Deportes to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime soccer event. Copa America will celebrate its first centennial and in this special edition of the cup, the whole continent will be united in the name of futbol. For the first time, this 2016 FIFA official event will be played outside of South America and will be hosted by the United States. The biggest stars in the game will be arriving to play in an exceptional edition of the tournament.
Univision Deportes will bring LIVE coverage of the draw to bring fans all of the excitement as the final matchups are revealed. The draw will be completed using a double-blind system involving the use of eight pots. The United States, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina are in the already announced Pot 1. These four teams have already been drawn into pre-determined groups, Group A: US, Group B: Brazil, Group C: Mexico and Group D: Argentina. Pot 2 will be selected among the teams with the highest Conmebol ranked nations, Pot 3 will be CONCACAF qualified nations, and Pot 4 will be comprised of Conmebol lower ranked nations. The remaining four pots will contain four positions each, one from each group.
Covering from New York City will be Alejandro Berry, Luis Omar Tapia, Pablo Ramírez and Ana Caty Hernández. Coverage will feature live interviews with Juan Carlos Osorio, manager of the Mexico National Team and Jurgen Klinsmann, manager of the USA National Team.
Copa America Centenario Draw will be followed by a live one-hour edition of Linea de 4 Edicion Copa America to present complete coverage of the draw. The broadcast will be presented by Raúl Guzmán, Enrique ‘Perro’ Bermúdez, Diego Balado and Jesús ‘Profe’ Bracamontes and will feature analysis of the draw.

UNIVISION DEPORTES OFRECE COBERTURA EN VIVO DEL SORTEO PARA LA COPA AMÉRICA CENTENARIO DE 2016
El sorteo finalmente revelará los grupos y pares de la Copa América Centenario de 2016 y se trasmitirá EN VIVO desde la ciudad de Nueva York en Univision Deportes el domingo, 21 de febrero a las 8:00 p.m. Este/ 7:00 p.m. Centro

QUÉ: Este verano, el continente americano se unirá en Univision Deportes para celebrar un evento futbolístico sin igual. La Copa América celebrará su primer centenario y en esta edición especial del torneo, todo el continente se unirá en nombre del fútbol. Por primera vez, este evento oficial de la FIFA de 2016 se jugará fuera de Sudamérica, y el anfitrión será Estados Unidos. Las más grandes estrellas del deporte llegarán a jugar una edición excepcional del torneo.
Univision Deportes ofrecerá cobertura EN VIVO del sorteo para llevar a los fans toda la emoción cuando se revelen los cruces finales. El sorteo se completará usando un sistema doble ciego con el uso de ocho bombos. Estados Unidos, México, Brasil y Argentina están en el bombo 1, que ya se anunció. Estos cuatro equipos ya se asignaron por sorteo a grupos predeterminados, Grupo A: Estados Unidos, Grupo B: Brasil, Grupo C: México y Grupo D: Argentina. En el bombo 2 se seleccionará a los equipos de los países más destacados en Conmebol, en el bombo 3 estarán los países que se han clasificado para CONCACAF y en el bombo 4 estará compuesta por los países con más baja posición en Conmebol. Cada una de los bombos restantes tendrá cuatro posiciones, una de cada grupo.
Ofrecerán cobertura desde la ciudad de Nueva York Alejandro Berry, Luis Omar Tapia, Pablo Ramírez y Ana Caty Hernández. La cobertura incluirá entrevistas en vivo a Juan Carlos Osorio, mánager de la Selección Nacional de México, y Jurgen Klinsmann, mánager de la Selección Nacional de Estados Unidos.
