UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 18, 2016 to January 24, 2016
- UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network, beating Telemundo for the entire weekend among Total Viewers 2+ (+26%), Adults 18-49 (+40%) and young Adults 18-34 (+46%). This marked the second consecutive weekend that UniMás out-delivered Telemundo on both Saturday and Sunday night.
- UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the third consecutive Saturday night. UniMás outperformed Telemundo by double-digits on Saturday night with Total Viewers 2+ (+10%), Adults 18-49 (+17%) and young Adults 18-34 (+20%).
- Airing head-to-head, UniMás’ Cine Cantinflas film “El Mago” out-delivered Telemundo’s movie “Warm Bodies” among Total Viewers 2+ (+79%) and Adults 18-49 viewers (+43%) and young Adults 18-34 (+25%).
- At 9pm, UniMás’ feature film presentation “Solo” also out-delivered Telemundo’s “Qué Noche” in the time period among Adults 18-49 viewers (+8%) and young Adults 18-34 (+18%).
- UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the third consecutive Saturday night. UniMás outperformed Telemundo by double-digits on Saturday night with Total Viewers 2+ (+10%), Adults 18-49 (+17%) and young Adults 18-34 (+20%).
- On Sunday night, UniMás maintained its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+40%), Adults 18-49 (+60%) and young Adults 18-34 (+69%).
- UniMás kicked off the night with a Liga Mexicana soccer match between “Guadalajara” and “Tigres UNAL.” The live match attracted 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 594,000 Adults 18-49 and 312,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Airing head-to-head with Telemundo’s film “The Tourist,” the soccer match delivered more than double the young Adults 18-34 viewers (+153%) and delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+36%) and Adults 18-49 viewers (+79%)
- Following at 8pm, UniMás’ feature presentation “Ip Man” attracted 984,000 Total Viewers 2+, 492,000 Adults 18-49 and 198,000 young Adults 18-34. The film out-delivered Telemundo’s “Gran Hermano” by double digit percentages with Total Viewers 2+ (+31%), Adults 18-49 viewers (+41%) and young Adults 18-34 (+32%).
- Finishing the night with the Cineplex movie “Gutshot Straight,” UniMás averaged 664,000 Total Viewers 2+, 323,000 Adults 18-49 and 131,000 young Adults 18-34.
- UniMás kicked off the night with a Liga Mexicana soccer match between “Guadalajara” and “Tigres UNAL.” The live match attracted 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 594,000 Adults 18-49 and 312,000 young Adults 18-34.
- UniMás reported week-over week primetime audience gains among Adults 18-49 (+4% to 342,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+3% to 160,000).
- Versus the same week a year ago (01/19/15 – 01/25/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+3%).
- In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%) during broadcast prime.
- UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax among Total Viewers 2+ (+35%) and more than double the Adults 18-49 (+90%) and more than double the young Adults 18-34 (+105%).
