Univision Network’s “La Banda” Experienced Double-Digit Growth For the Second Consecutive Week

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 28, 2015 to October 4, 2015

  • On Sunday, the fourth telecast of “La Banda”
    • Grew by double-digit margins for the second consecutive week, with Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34 up +17% and +25%, respectively, over the third telecast.
    • Was the highest rated telecast of the season, averaging 3.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 million Adults 18-49 and 598,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Delivered more young Adults 18-34 than the first-run episodes of ABC’s “Blood & Oil” and CBS’ “Madam Secretary,” “The Good Wife” and “CSI: Cyber.”
    • Helped make Univision the No. 4 network for the entire evening among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS.
    • Provided a strong center for Univision’s 7 p.m. “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) and 10 p.m. “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper), as both programs saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ ( +19% and +21%, respectively).
  • Last week (M-SU), Univision Network out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four nights among young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 8 p.m., “Antes Muerta Que Lichita” (I’d Rather be Dead Than Ordinary) averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 934,000 Adults 18-49 and 451,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 9 p.m., “Lo Imperdonable” (The Unforgivable) saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+10% to 508,000).
  • At 10 p.m., “Yo No Creo En Los Hombres” (I Don’t Trust Men) averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 993,000 Adults 18-49 and 416,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Saturday, “Una Leyenda Gigante” helped make Univision the No. 4 network for the evening among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS.  The three-hour tribute to Don Francisco averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 627,000 Adults 18-49 and 267,000 young Adults 18-34.
