Súper Clásico and Premios TV y Novelas Helped Univision Rank No. 2 Sunday Night Among Young Adults 18-34

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 20, 2015 to April 26, 2015

  • Last week (M-SU), Univision Network ranked No. 2 in primetime among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS, FOX and NBC. Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights among young Adults 18-34.
  • “Amores con Trampa” (Fooled Into Love) helped make Univision the No. 3 network among young Adults 18-34 in the Monday-Friday 8 p.m. time period, outperforming FOX and NBC. The novela saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+9% to 590,000).
  • Airing Monday to Friday 9 p.m.-10 p.m., “Hasta El Fin Del Mundo” (Until the End of Time) helped make Univision the No. 3 network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming NBC and FOX. The novela saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+10% to 614,000).
  • At 10 p.m., “Que Te Perdone Dios” (Let God Forgive You) helped make Univision the No. 4 network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming NBC. The novela saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+8% to 462,000).
  • Airing “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the No. 2 network on Saturday night among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC, CBS and FOX. “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+7% to 366,000).
  • On Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 2 and No. 3 network for the entire evening, respectively, among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming NBC and CBS in each demographic.
    • Airing 7:20 p.m.-9:30 p.m., the Súper Clásico match between Chivas de Guadalajara vs. Club América delivered 1.7 million Adults 18-49, making it the most-viewed regular season club soccer match in over 5 years.
    • Next, the awards show Premios TV y Novelas helped Univision rank No. 2 and No.3, respectively, among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming NBC and CBS in each demographic. The show averaged 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 494,000 young Adults 18-34.
