EL PASO, TX – APRIL 07, 2015 – Univision Local Media today announced the appointment of Angela Navarrete to general manager and director of Sales of Univision stations in El Paso, Texas, effective immediately. She will be based in El Paso and report to Peter Moore, senior vice president and general manager, Univision Local Media. In this new role, Navarrete will oversee all aspects of station operations including Ad Sales, Marketing, Production and Promotions for all the Univision owned and operated radio stations in El Paso: KBNA-FM 97.5; KAMA-AM 750; and KQBU-AM 920.

Navarrete has more than 20 years of broadcasting experience. She joined Univision in 2002 as general sales manager for Univision Radio in Texas and was quickly promoted to director of sales. Navarrete was then appointed to VP and general manager of three radio stations in Fresno, CA where she served for six years, surpassing sales goals by 50%, before being transferred to El Paso to oversee the Radio and Digital operations. In 2012, Navarrete rejoined the team in Fresno as general manager and director of Sales overseeing all aspects of Marketing, News, Production and Promotions in Radio and Digital operations for almost two years; where she was most recently promoted to Station manager in August 2014.
Prior to joining Univision, she served as general manager of Amigo Broadcasting in Austin; worked for Rodriguez Communications in various capacities including Account executive, Marketing director and Station manager in Dallas; and as an Account executive for Telemundo in Dallas.

Trabajará desde El Paso bajo la supervisión de Peter Moore, vicepresidente principal y gerente general de Medios Locales de Univision. En su nuevo cargo, Navarrete supervisará todos los aspectos de las operaciones, incluyendo Venta de Publicidad, Mercadeo, Producción y Promociones de todas las estaciones de radio de Univision y operadas por la empresa en El Paso: KBNA-FM 97.5; KAMA-AM 750, y KQBU-AM 920.

Navarrete tiene más de 20 años de experiencia en difusión. Se incorporó a Univision en 2002 como gerente general de Ventas de Univision Radio en Texas y pronto fue ascendida a directora de Ventas. Navarrete fue luego nombrada vicepresidenta y gerente general de tres estaciones de radio en Fresno, CA, donde trabajó seis años, superando con 50% los objetivos de ventas. Luego fue transferida a El Paso para supervisar las operaciones de Radio y Medios Digitales. En 2012, Navarrete se volvió a unir al equipo de Fresno como gerente general y directora de Ventas, a cargo de supervisar todos los aspectos de Mercadeo, Noticias, Producción y Promociones de las operaciones de Radio y Medios Digitales durante casi dos años. Recientemente, en agosto de 2014, fue ascendida a gerente de Estación.
Antes de trabajar en Univision, fue gerente general de Amigo Broadcasting en Austin; ocupó diversos cargos en Rodríguez Communications, entre ellos ejecutiva de Cuentas, directora de Mercadeo y gerente de Estación en Dallas. Además trabajó como ejecutiva de Cuentas de Telemundo en Dallas.
