ViX Brings Its Series El Mochaorejas to Spain, Strengthening Its International Reach
The original series starring Damián Alcázar and Paulina Gaitán premieres in Spain today, January 30, through Atresmedia.
MIAMI, JANUARY 30, 2026 — El Mochaorejas, an original series from ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, continues to expand its international footprint and premieres today in Spainthrough Atresmedia, following its successful launch in Mexico, the United States, and Latin America.
Starring Damián Alcázar and Paulina Gaitán, the series premiered on ViX on January 23, solidifying its position as the No. 1 original title in its genre and one of the most relevant offerings on the streaming platform.
Consisting of eight episodes, EL MOCHAOREJAS is inspired by an investigation by journalist Olga Wornat and portrays the social context surrounding the wave of kidnappings that marked Mexico during the 1990s.
EL MOCHAOREJAS features a top-tier cast including Alex Perea, Ariana Saavedra, Armando Espitia, Armando Hernández, Enoc Leaño, Fermín Martínez, Giovanna Zacarías, Gustavo Sánchez Parra, José Sefami, Juan Carlos Barreto, Marco Treviño, and María Antonieta Hidalgo, with special appearances by Arcelia Ramírez, Oka Giner, Julio Bracho, Alberto Estrella, Emilio Guerrero, Claudia Ramírez, and Scarlet Gruber.
