- The investigation into three femicides that took place in Nuevo León in early 2022 exposes a disturbing network of complicity that perpetuates systematic violence against women in the country.
- By exploring the cases of Yolanda Martínez, María Fernanda Contreras, and Debanhi Escobar, the production team behind N+ Docs also reveals another type of network: one of resistance and defense built by family members, feminist activists, and citizens.
- Comprised of three episodes, it will be available on ViX starting March 6, with the broadcast of its first episode on Las Estrellas on March 4.
MEXICO CITY – FEBRUARY 26, 2025 – Based on a rigorous journalistic investigation into three femicides that took place between March and April 2022 in the state of Nuevo León, in northern Mexico, the documentary series #TODAS. DEBANHI, UNA HISTORIA DE REDES offers an insider’s view into two different types of networks: on the one hand, a network of complicity that allows violence against women to persist and, on the other hand, a network of resistance formed by family members and feminist activists to demand justice.
Produced by N+ Docs, Detective, and Viento del Norte, this documentary series exposes the corruption and impunity surrounding the cases of Yolanda Martínez, María Fernanda Contreras, and Debanhi Escobar, which occurred amid a wave of violence against women after the 8M protests of 2022 took place, dewhich thanks to citizen protests and demonstrations around them, gained special attention on social media as well as the press.
Under the direction of Arisbeth Márquez, with Diego Enrique Osorno as executive producer, #TODAS. DEBANHI, UNA HISTORIA DE REDES will offer audiences journalism that seeks to illuminate gender violence in Mexico, inform citizens, encourage conversation around this problem, and demand accountability and justice from the authorities.
Almost three years after the events, relatives of the victims give testimony of their experiences and struggles in this documentary research, which also showcases the experience and perspectives of activist organizations and feminist collectives from Monterrey (Alternativas Pacíficas, Morras Feministas MTY, and Asamblea Feminista de MTY) and Mexico City (Observatorio Ciudadano del Feminicidio and Brigada Callejera). We express our deep gratitude to them for their participation and recognition of their valuable work.
#TODAS. DEBANHI, UNA HISTORIA DE REDES will be available starting Thursday, March 6, on ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, with the broadcast of its first episode on Tuesday, March 4, on Por las Estrellas, at the end of the newscast “En Punto.”

Bajo la dirección de Arisbeth Márquez, con Diego Enrique Osorno como productor ejecutivo, en #TODAS. DEBANHI, UNA HISTORIA DE REDES las audiencias encontrarán un trabajo periodístico que busca visibilizar la violencia de género que existe en México, informar a la ciudadanía, propiciar la conversación en torno a esta problemática y demandar de las autoridades responsabilidad y justicia.
A casi tres años de los hechos, familiares de las víctimas dan testimonio de sus vivencias y lucha en esta investigación documental que también recoge la experiencia y perspectivas de organizaciones activistas y colectivas feministas de Monterrey (Alternativas Pacíficas, Morras Feministas MTY y Asamblea Feminista de MTY) y de la Ciudad de México (Observatorio Ciudadano del Feminicidio y Brigada Callejera).
