The Two-Year Agreement Grants ViX First-Look Rights to Zurita’s Upcoming Projects
NEW YORK, NY – MAY 14, 2024 – ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, has signed a first-look agreement with Emmy-nominated Mexican producer Juanpa Zurita and ARCO Entertainment Media. The deal, announced today at TelevisaUnivision’s 2024-25 Upfront presentation, grants ViX exclusive access to ARCO Entertainment’s Spanish-language series and theatrical motion picture projects.
Zurita is well known among ViX subscribers; he was an integral part in the success of the 2023 ViX Original film “¿Quieres ser mi Hijo?” He continues his commitment with ViX as ARCO Entertainment co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, from where he will be developing diverse premium Spanish-language content and curating exceptional stories for ViX. In these endeavors, his partner, Brenda Tubilla, will serve as the executive producer for said projects, working closely with him.

El acuerdo de dos años otorga a ViX derechos de acceso preferencial (first look) a los próximos proyectos de Zurita
NUEVA YORK, NY –14 DE MAYO DE 2024– ViX, el servicio de streaming en español líder en el mundo, ha firmado un acuerdo de acceso preferencial (first look) con el productor mexicano Juanpa Zurita, nominado al Emmy, y ARCO Entertainment Media. El acuerdo, que se anunció hoy en la presentación Upfront de 2024-25 de TelevisaUnivision, otorga a ViX acceso exclusivo a los proyectos de series y películas de cine en español de ARCO Entertainment.
Zurita es ya conocido por los suscriptores de ViX, pues tuvo un papel integral en el éxito de la película original del servicio “¿Quieres ser mi hijo?” en 2023. Su compromiso con ViX continúa ahora en calidad de cofundador y director creativo ejecutivo de ARCO Entertainment, donde creará una diversidad de contenido premium en español y curará historias excepcionales para ViX. En estos proyectos, su socia, Brenda Tubilla, se desempeñará como productora ejecutiva y trabajará de cerca con él.
