MIAMI, FL. – JUNE 13, 2023 – Celebrating 20 years, the hottest party of the summer PREMIOS JUVENTUD (The Youth Awards) returns to La Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico on Thursday, July 20. The annual awards show will air LIVE on Univision from the historic Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot at 7p/6c. This year PREMIOS JUVENTUD is giving inclusion a front row seat, encouraging attending celebrities and the audience to come as they are under the theme “Exprésate a tu Manera” (Express Yourself Authentically). Beloved actress and TV presenter Alejandra Espinoza returns as host for the night and will be joined by worldclass artists who will be announced at a later date.
Leading the nominees this year are heavyweights Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Maluma, Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Shakira, and TINI with nine recognitions each. Colombian powerhouses Camilo, Karol G, Manuel Turizo, Mexican American superstar Becky G , and Argentinian popstar María Becerra follow with eight nods each. PREMIOS JUVENTUD features 233 nominees and 44 categories that celebrate the different areas of interest of the new generations including music, streaming, fashion, innovation, culture and everything that’s trending. This year, in true PJ fashion, the youth and stars who make a difference and give back to their communities will be honored with the crowd favorite “Agente de Cambio” (Agent of Change) award.
This edition of PREMIOS JUVENTUD debuts 15 new categories that reflect the latest trends in Latin music, including: “Best Song for My Ex,” “Best Urban Track,” “Best Urban Mix,” “Best Dembow Song,” “Best Trap Song,” “Pop Mix of the Year,” “Best Pop/Urban Collaboration,” “Best Tropical Album,” among others.

Miami, FL. – 13 de junio de 2023 – Celebrando su 20 aniversario, la fiesta más hot del verano PREMIOS JUVENTUD regresa a La Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico el jueves 20 de julio a las 7p/6c, y se trasmitirá en VIVO por Univision desde el histórico Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. Este año, la premiación anual pone la inclusión en primera fila invitando a las estrellas y al público a venir tal y como son bajo el lema “Exprésate a tu Manera”. Además, la querida actriz y presentadora Alejandra Espinoza regresa como anfitriona y será acompañada por grandes artistas que serán anunciados próximamente.
Este año, encabezando la lista de nominados y con nueve reconocimientos cada uno se encuentran: Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Maluma, Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Shakira y TINI. Los colombianos Camilo, Karol G, Manuel Turizo, la super estrella mexicoamericana Becky G y la argentina María Becerra siguen en la lista con ocho nominaciones cada uno, sumándose a un total de 233 nominados en 44 categorías. PREMIOS JUVENTUD reconoce las diferentes áreas de interés de las nuevas generaciones como música, streaming, moda, innovación, cultura, y todo lo que esta trending. Además, la premiación contará con los reconocimientos especiales de “Agente de Cambio” que honra a los jóvenes y estrellas que marcan la diferencia para construir un mundo mejor.
