UniMás Outperforms The CW During Primetime for 10th Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-49

UniMás Delivers 22nd Straight Week of Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth Across All Key Demos Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 23, 2020 to March 29, 2020

  • UniMás outperformed The CW during primetime for the entire week with Adults 18-49 (+26% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+22% adv.), marking the tenth and fifteenth consecutive week that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 462,000), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 241,000) and Adults 18-34 (+12% to 93,000), marking the 22nd consecutive week of audience growth.
  • UniMás’ “Cineplex” movie block delivered year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 381,000), Adults 18-49 (+27% to 215,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 83,000).
    • UniMás’ “Cineplex” also outperformed The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot among Adults 18-49 (+8% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+5% adv.). The movie block drew in more Adult 18-49 and Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of The CW’s “Roswell, New Mexico,” “Charmed,” “Dynasty” and “Katy Keene.”
  • UniMás’ weeknight reality series, “Vas Con Todo” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time slot by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+30% to 219,000), Adults 18-49 (+20% to 102,000) and Adults 18-34 (+18% to 45,000) versus the prior four week’s average.
  • In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is averaging double-digit audience growth during primetime versus the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+41% to 512,000), Adults 18-49 (+46% to 246,000) and Adults 18-34 (+39% to 104,000).
  • Saturday night’s airing of “CineNight: Taken” doubled UniMás’ 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period with Total Viewers 2+ (+39% to 871,000), Adults 18-49 (+32% to 392,000) and Adults 18-34 (+18% to 131,000) versus the previous Saturday. The movie also increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. time slot by double to triple-digit margins versus the same day last year among all key demos. UniMás also outperformed Telemundo in the 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+40% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+47% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+13% adv.).
  • UniMás’ Sunday night line-up (“Cineplex: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters” and “CineMás: The Expendables 3”) outperformed The CW by double to triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+70% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+136% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+130% adv.) for the entire night, marking the sixteenth consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up also delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+33% to 685,000), Adults 18-49 (+39% to 359,000) and Adults 18-34 (+34% to 145,000).
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+50% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+115% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+82% adv.) for the entire week. UniMás is also out-delivering the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double-to-triple digit margins in the current 2019/2020 season among all key demos.
