MIAMI– March 19, 2026 – TelevisaUnivision and PRIMETIME Sports today announced the 2026 edition of Copa Univision, marking the return of Univision’s national grassroots soccer tournament and community festival. Kicking off in May from Miami, Copa Univision 2026 will bring together local leagues, families, and fans to celebrate the passion of soccer in the United States ahead of a massive Summer of Soccer.
Copa Univision combines high-energy competition with a family-friendly festival atmosphere while strengthening Univision’s presence and community connection in each market. The tournament consists of boys and girls categories within a competitive 5v5 format and multiple matches per team. This year, Dallas will also have an adult category in the tournament.
Originally launched in 2008 in multiple markets nationwide, the tournament has become a signature community property for TelevisaUnivision. Dallas served as the foundation market as the tournament was rebuilt post-pandemic (2021 to 2024), with the 2025 tournament expanding to Phoenix and Los Angeles.
All events will consist of music, entertainment, sponsor activations, vendor booths, community engagement, and more.
