MIAMI (February 20, 2025) – The 37th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro took place tonight at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and was broadcast live on Univision. The big winner of the evening was Shakira, who took home six awards, followed by Carín León with five, and Karol G and Camilo with four awards each. The ceremony, hosted by Laura Pausini, Thalia, and Alejandra Espinoza, provided a memorable night filled with exciting performances, special collaborations, and emotional tributes that reflected this year’s theme, “Uniendo Generaciones.”
The event began with a standout performance featuring actor and GRAMMY-winning artist Will Smith, along with Spanish singer India Martínez, who performed their new song “First Love.” Then, DJ Khaled, Thalia, and the legendary Miami Sound Machine joined forces to light up the stage with the timeless hit “Miami,” kicking off the night in spectacular fashion.
One of the most emotional moments of the evening was the tribute to the legendary Paquita la del Barrio, performed by Pepe Aguilar and his children, Leonardo and Ángela Aguilar, who honored her career and legacy, highlighting the figure of this iconic Mexican singer of rancheras and boleros. Additionally, Alejandro Fernández, one of the leading figures in Mexican music, received the Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia in recognition of his outstanding musical career and his invaluable contribution to Mexican culture.
In honor of her more than four decades of success in tropical music, La India received the Premio Lo Nuestro a la Trayectoria, celebrating the impact that the ‘Princess of Salsa’ has had on the genre. Her tribute was presented by renowned producer Sergio George. Composer and producer Manuel Alejandro, who received the Visionario de lo Nuestro recognition, was honored with an emotional performance by Alejandro Sanz, Carín León, Laura Pausini, Edgar Barrera, and Niña Pastori.
Throughout the gala, there were collaborations between legends and new artists, as well as segments celebrating the evolution of various musical genres. One example was Prince Royce‘s performance, where he sang classics like “My Girl,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “Dancing In The Moonlight.” Meanwhile, Arthur Hanlon performed alongside Ángela Aguilar, Yotuel, and Darell with the songs “Bala Perdida” and “Repetimos.”
The award show brought together the most influential artists of the moment and featured standout performances, such as the big winner of the night, Shakira, who delivered an exclusive show from her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour. El Alfa bid farewell to the stage with an energetic medley of his biggest hits, while Manuel Turizo and Xavi debuted their live collaboration “En Privado.” The multi-award-winning artist of Premio Lo Nuestro, with 28 awards, Marc Anthony, took the stage to present the song “Volver” alongside the Colombian group Piso 21 and Beéle.
The musical journey continued with Reik, who premiered their new single “Mientes” with an unforgettable performance. Grupo Frontera, along with Alejandro Sanz, moved the audience with the television debut of “Hoy No Me Siento Bien.” Guaynaa made his debut at the Premio Lo Nuestro stage with a collaboration alongside Venesti, while Los Ángeles Azules and Thalia set the stage on fire with “Yo Me Lo Busqué.” Emilia and Silvestre Dangond captivated the crowd with “Vestido Rojo,” and Gordo, along with Emilia, fused house, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms with their hit “Olvidarte.” Natti Natasha surprised the audience by premiering her new song “Desde Hoy” live.
Venezuelan artist Danny Ocean, nominated in three categories, presented his song “Imagínate” alongside Kapo. The night also featured performances by artists such as Alejandra Guzmán, Belinda, Tito Double P, Becky G, Oscar Maydon, Ha*Ash, and many more.

MIAMI (20 de febrero de 2025) – La 37ª edición de Premio Lo Nuestro se celebró esta noche en el Kaseya Center de Miami, Florida, y fue transmitida en vivo por Univision. La gran ganadora de la velada fue Shakira, quien recibió seis premios, seguida por Carín León con cinco, y Karol G y Camilo, con cuatro galardones cada uno. La ceremonia, conducida por Laura Pausini, Thalia y Alejandra Espinoza, ofreció una noche memorable llena de emocionantes presentaciones, colaboraciones especiales y emotivos homenajes que reflejaron el lema de este año, “Uniendo Generaciones”.
El evento comenzó con una presentación destacada protagonizada por el actor y artista galardonado con el GRAMMY, Will Smith, junto a la cantante española India Martínez, quienes interpretaron su nuevo tema “First Love”. Después, DJ Khaled, Thalia y la legendaria Miami Sound Machine se unieron para encender el escenario con el clásico “Miami”, marcando un inicio espectacular para la noche.

En honor a sus más de cuatro décadas de éxitos en la música tropical, La India recibió el Premio Lo Nuestro a la Trayectoria, celebrando el impacto que la Princesa de la Salsa ha tenido en el género. Su homenaje estuvo a cargo del reconocido productor Sergio George. El compositor y productor Manuel Alejandro, galardonado con el premio Visionario de lo Nuestro, fue reconocido con una emotiva presentación a cargo de Alejandro Sanz, Carín León, Laura Pausini, Edgar Barrera y Niña Pastori.
A lo largo de la gala, se presentaron colaboraciones entre leyendas y nuevos artistas, así como segmentos que celebraron la evolución de diversos géneros musicales.
