Miami, FL.- April 25, 2024 – Under the theme “We Speak Música,” the ninth annual Latin American Music Awards 2024 made history by becoming the first bilingual awards ceremony in the United States. The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas buzzed with energy, and set the stage for exciting world premieres, unique collaborations, and moving tributes, all of which aired live on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, and ViX. The biggest winners of the night were Karol G and Feid, who each took home 6 awards. Karol G won Artist of the Year and Song of the Year, while Feid excelled in Collaboration of the Year and Streaming Artist of the Year. Shakira and Young Miko each received 3 awards, adding even more prestige to this unforgettable gala.
The show was masterfully conducted by pop legend Thalia, multi-platinum singer Becky G, presenter and actress Alejandra Espinoza, and television host Carlos Ponce. Among the standout moments of the night were the special awards given to iconic Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner and Mexican music group Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, who were bestowed with Latin AMA Legacy recognition. In addition, reggaeton star Yandel was honored as Latin AMA Pioneer for his countless contributions to the urban genre.
The night was also marked by exciting performances. Superstar Peso Pluma, who debuted at the 2023 Latin AMAs—marking his inaugural appearance at a music awards ceremony in the United States—graced the stage once again to deliver his latest hit, “Peso Completo,” alongside Arcángel. Marc Anthony delivered the world premiere of his new single “Ale Ale”, teasing his long-awaited new album. In addition, celebrated actress and Latin pop singer Thalia surprised the audience with the world premiere of a single from her upcoming album, set to release on April 26th, while Becky G delighted fans with “Mercedes”, alongside Mexican talent Oscar Maydon.
The urban genre also had its moment of glory with the performances of several of its stars, including Brazilian sensation Anitta, debuting two tracks from her upcoming album “Funk Generation,” reggaeton legend Wisin, Puerto Rican artist Farruko, who was joined by Ky-Mani Marley, the talented Dalex, successful producer and songwriter Dimelo Flow, Panamanian powerhouse Sech and one of the big winners of the night, Feid, who made a stop on his ‘FerxxoCalipsis’ tour to perform at the Latin AMAs.
Furthermore, the evening was full of surprises as singer-songwriter Carin León presented his song “Cuando La Vida Sea Trago” for the first time on television, while acclaimed American country singer Jennifer Nettles joined singer-songwriter Noel Schajris for the world premiere of “Love’s Still Here” from their upcoming bilingual album. Finally, the audience enjoyed unrivaled performances by rising stars Danny Ocean, Morat, Ryan Castro, Chino Pacas, Gabito Ballesteros, Yng Lvcas, Venesti alongside Nacho, and DJ and producer Milo Beat. The power couple Jay Wheeler and Zhamira also captivated with their rendition of “Extrañándote.”

Miami, FL. – 25 de abril de 2024 – Bajo el lema “We Speak Música,” la novena entrega de los Latin American Music Awards 2024 hizo historia al ser la primera premiación bilingüe en Estados Unidos. El MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas se llenó de energía con estrenos mundiales, colaboraciones únicas y homenajes emocionantes y al mismo tiempo conmovedores, todos transmitidos en vivo por Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, y ViX. Los grandes ganadores de la noche fueron Karol G y Feid, quienes se llevaron a casa 6 premios cada uno. Karol G ganó Artista del Año y Canción del Año, mientras que Feid destacó en las categorías Colaboración del Año y Artista Streaming del Año. Shakira y Young Miko recibieron 3 galardones cada una, añadiendo aún más distinción a esta inolvidable gala.
El espectáculo estuvo magistralmente conducido por la leyenda del pop Thalia, la cantante multiplatino Becky G, la presentadora y actriz Alejandra Espinoza, y el conductor de televisión Carlos Ponce. Entre los momentos memorables de la noche se resaltaron los reconocimientos especiales al icónico cantautor venezolano Ricardo Montaner y al grupo de música mexicana Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, quienes fueron galardonados con el reconocimiento especial Latin AMA Legacy. Además, el astro del reggaetón Yandel fue honrado con el reconocimiento Latin AMA Pioneer por su contribución al género urbano.
La noche también estuvo marcada por emocionantes presentaciones, donde la superestrella Peso Pluma, quien en los Latin AMAs 2023 se presentó por primera vez en una premiación a la música en Estados Unidos, regresó para interpretar su último éxito “Peso Completo” junto a Arcángel. Por su parte, Marc Anthony presentó el estreno mundial su nuevo sencillo “Ale Ale”, adelantando así el lanzamiento de su esperado álbum. Además, la célebre actriz y cantautora de pop latino Thalia sorprendió al público con el estreno mundial de un sencillo de su próximo álbum que se estrena el 26 de abril, mientras que Becky G deleitó a las audiencias con “Mercedes”, acompañada por el talento del artista mexicano Oscar Maydon.
El género urbano también tuvo su momento de gloria con las presentaciones de varias de sus estrellas, incluyendo la icónica brasileña Anitta, quien estrenó dos temas de su próximo álbum “Funk Generation”, la leyenda del reggaetón Wisin, el artista boricua Farruko, quien se presentó con Ky-Mani Marley, el talentoso Dalex, el exitoso productor y compositor Dimelo Flow, la potencia panameña Sech, y el ganador de la noche, Feid, quien hizo una parada en su gira ‘FerxxoCalipsis’ para presentarse en los Latin AMAs.
Además, la noche estuvo llena de sorpresas cuando el cantautor de Hermosillo, Sonora, Carin León, presentó por primera vez en televisión su tema “Cuando La Vida Sea Trago”. Además, la aclamada cantante de country estadounidense Jennifer Nettles se unió al cantautor Noel Schajris para el estreno mundial de “Love’s Still Here” de su próximo álbum bilingüe. Finalmente, la audiencia disfrutó de presentaciones inigualables de las estrellas emergentes Danny Ocean, Morat, Ryan Castro, Chino Pacas, Gabito Ballesteros, Yng Lvcas, Venesti junto a Nacho y al DJ y productor Milo Beat, y la pareja de recién casados Jay Wheeler y Zhamira, quienes presentaron juntos su tema “Extrañándote”.
