Miami, FL. – January 24, 2024 – Univision announced today that singer-songwriter Ana Bárbara, reggaeton legend, Don Omar and renowned Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañón will each be honored for their artistic career during the celebration of the 36th edition of PREMIO LO NUESTRO, taking place live on Univision on Thursday, February 22 at 7p/6c from the Kaseya Center in Miami.
Mexican singer-songwriter Ana Bárbara will receive the “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Trayectoria” (Lifetime Achievement Award) in recognition of her successful musical career, which now spans thirty years of chart-topping hits, making her an iconic female voice withing the Mexican regional music genre.
Reggaeton legend Don Omar will be recognized with the “Ícono Global” (Global Icon Award), as an accolade for his pivotal role in leading the Latin urban movement. During his artistic journey, Don Omar has been a voice and a constant source of inspiration for countless new artists due to his vision, musical impact, and successful record in the industry.
Tropical music star Olga Tañón, who has been the most awarded artist in the history of PREMIO LO NUESTRO, will receive the prestigious “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia” (Award of Excellence) in recognition of her remarkable contributions and dedicated career in Latin music. This honor is reserved for artists who have not only built an impeccable musical legacy, but also have served as trailblazers in their genre, spreading their impact beyond the sphere of music.

Miami, FL. – 24 de enero de 2024 – Univision anunció hoy que la cantante y compositora Ana Bárbara, la leyenda del reguetón, Don Omar y la reconocida cantante puertorriqueña Olga Tañón recibirán cada uno un reconocimiento especial por su trayectoria artística durante la celebración de la edición número 36 de PREMIO LO NUESTRO, que se transmitirá en vivo por Univision el próximo 22 de febrero a las 7p/6c desde el Kaseya Center en Miami.
La cantautora mexicana Ana Bárbara será honrada con el “Premio Lo Nuestro a La Trayectoria” en reconocimiento a su exitosa carrera, que ya abarca tres décadas y con la que ha logrado dejar una marca indeleble como una de las voces femeninas más prominentes dentro del género de la música regional mexicana.
Por su parte el galardón “Ícono Global” será otorgado a Don Omar, uno de los máximos pioneros del Reguetón y quien ha desempeñado un papel fundamental como líder del movimiento urbano siendo una fuente constante de inspiración para innumerables artistas nuevos, gracias a sus contribuciones visionarias y su influencia en la industria.
