MIAMI, FL. – FEBRUARY 7, 2023 – Univision announced the first wave of performers who will join the 35th edition of PREMIO LO NUESTRO, the longest-running Latin music award show and this year’s first Spanish-language award show. The night will deliver top moments including the first national television appearance of the year of one of the most influential artists of all time Gloria Trevi, a worldwide premiere by show host and Queen of Pop Paulina Rubio, the TV debut of a unique collaboration by stars Christian Nodal and Tini, and much more. PREMIO LO NUESTRO will air LIVE on Univision from Miami-Dade Arena on February 23 kicking off with popular pre-show NOCHE DE ESTRELLAS at 7/6c.
The first round of announced performers includes:
- Regional Mexican star Christian Nodal will deliver the TV debut of his soon-to-be-released single Cumbión Dolido. Then Argentine Pop sensation Tini will join him for the unforgettable TV premiere of their most recent collaboration Por el Resto de Tu Vida. Nodal has 7 nods this year, and 8 previous PREMIO LO NUESTRO award wins including “Artist of the Year – Regional Mexican” for 4 consecutive years. Tini is nominated for “Remix of the Year.”
- Urban singer and composer El Alfa returns to the PREMIO LO NUESTRO stage to perform his upcoming single. “The King of Dominican Dembow” has 3 nominations this year and is a two-time PREMIO LO NUESTRO winner.
- Superstar and global icon Gloria Trevi will make her first national TV appearance of the year at PREMIO LO NUESTRO with a show-stopping performance of her hit ballad Ensayando Como Pedirte Perdón. Trevi has 3 nominations this year including “Female Pop Artist of the Year.”
- Popular Regional Mexican band La Adictiva will take the PREMIO LO NUESTRO stage for the first time to perform their hit JGL. This year, La Adictiva has 3 nominations.
- For the first time performing on the PREMIO LO NUESTRO stage, Mexican American singer-songwriter Lupita Infante will delight audiences with a number that promises to be one of the most magical moments of the night. This year, Infante is nominated for “Female Artist of the Year – Regional Mexican.”
- PREMIO LO NUESTRO hosts Paulina Rubio and Sebastián Yatra will light up the stage with can’t-miss musical performances. Rubio, “La Chica Dorada (The Golden Girl)” will make the worldwide debut of her upcoming single, while Yatra will perform his latest track that drops February 16 LIVE for the first time. The Queen of Pop has 2 nominations this year, while Yatra leads the nominations list with 10 nods.
- Global bachata idol Prince Royce will present, for the first time on TV, his newest single that’s set to drop soon. This year, the twenty-time PREMIO LO NUESTRO winner has 5 nominations.
PREMIO LO NUESTRO will be honoring popular Regional Mexican group Intocable with the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia Award(Excellence Award) for being pioneers in their genre and paving the way for the next generation of Mexican American acts. The band has been recognized with 24 PREMIO LO NUESTRO awards, including the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro a la Trayectoria (Lifetime Achievement Award) in 2019.

MIAMI, FL. – 7 de febrero de 2023 – Univision anunció los primeros artistas confirmados que participarán en la 35ª edición de PREMIO LO NUESTRO, la primera premiación latina del año y la celebración de la música latina con mayor trayectoria. La gala contará con la primera presentación televisiva del año de una de las artistas más influyentes de todos los tiempos Gloria Trevi. Asimismo, un estreno mundial de la reina del pop y una de las anfitrionas del show Paulina Rubio, el debut televisivo de una colaboración única de las estrellas Christian Nodal y Tini, y mucho más. PREMIO LO NUESTRO se transmitirá en vivo por Univision desde Miami-Dade Arena el 23 de febrero, comenzando con el reconocido programa de antesala NOCHE DE ESTRELLAS a las 7 pm hora del este/6 pm hora del centro.
Entre los artistas confirmados en esta primera ronda están:
- La estrella del regional mexicano Christian Nodal presentará el debut televisivo de su tema Cumbión Dolido que estrena próximamente. La sensación argentina del pop Tini se unirá a Nodal para una presentación inolvidable de su más reciente colaboración Por el Resto de Tu Vida. Nodal tiene 7 nominaciones este año, y 8 previos reconocimientos de PREMIO LO NUESTRO, incluyendo “Artista del Año – Regional Mexicano” por cuatro años consecutivos. Este año Tini está nominada a “Remix del Año”.
- El cantante y compositor del género urbano El Alfa regresa al escenario de PREMIO LO NUESTRO para presentar su sencillo que lanza próximamente. “El Rey del Dembow Dominicano” es dos veces ganador de PREMIO LO NUESTRO y cuenta con 3 nominaciones este año.
- La superestrella e ícono mundial Gloria Trevi hará su primera aparición televisiva nacional del año en PREMIO LO NUESTRO y le brindará al público una presentación inolvidable de su exitosa balada Ensayando Como Pedirte Perdón. Trevi tiene 3 nominaciones este año incluyendo “Artista Pop Femenina del Año”.
- La banda popular del regional mexicano La Adictiva tomará el escenario de PREMIO LO NUESTRO por primera vez para brindarle al público una presentación especial de su exitoso tema JGL. La Adictiva cuenta con 3 nominaciones este año.
- Por primera vez presentándose sobre el escenario de PREMIO LO NUESTRO, la cantautora mexicoamericana Lupita Infante deleitará al público con un número que promete ser uno de los momentos más mágicos de la noche. Infante está nominada a “Artista Femenina del Año – Regional Mexicano”.
- Los conductores de la noche, Paulina Rubio y Sebastián Yatra, iluminarán el escenario con actos musicales imperdibles. Rubio, “La Chica Dorada” hará el estreno global de su próximo sencillo, mientras que Yatra interpretará por primera vez en vivo su más reciente tema que lanza el 16 de febrero. La Reina del Pop tiene 2 nominaciones este año, mientras que Yatra lidera la lista de nominados con 10 reconocimientos.
- El ídolo mundial de la bachata Prince Royce pondrá a todos a bailar con el estreno televisivo de su más reciente sencillo que estrenará pronto. Este año, el veinte veces ganador del PREMIO LO NUESTRO cuenta con 5 nominaciones.
PREMIO LO NUESTRO honrará al popular grupo del regional mexicano Intocable con el prestigioso Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia por ser pioneros en su género y seguir abriendo el camino para la próxima generación de artistas mexicoamericanos.
