MIAMI – JUNE 29, 2022 – Univision’s “Premios Juventud” (PJ/Youth Awards) announced today the first round of stars to perform in summer’s most awaited celebration. From Latin pop to regional Mexican music, the confirmed line-up represents diversity of Latin music and culture, as well as a mix of the hottest artists and artists on the rise. The 4-hour broadcast will air LIVE from Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot on July 21 at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 CT on Univision.
Under the theme “Celebra Tu Pasión” (Celebrate Your Passion), this 19th edition of “Premios Juventud” will feature special performances and collaborations, as well as unforgettable summer hits performed for the first time on TV. The participating artists include:
- Ángela Aguilar: With 7 nominations including the newly added category of Female Artist – On the Rise, Aguilar is among the most nominated of the night and will delight us on stage with her music.
- CNCO: The mega popular band will perform for the first time on TV one of their newest hits. CNCO has 2 nominations this year including Favorite Group or Duo of the Year.
- Grupo Firme: One of the most nominated of the night, Grupo Firme, will delight regional Mexican fans with performances of their latest hits: “El Tóxico,” “En Tu Perra Vida,” and more. Grupo Firme has 7 nominations this year.
- Kenia Os: The popular Mexican content creator and singer is joining as a first-time PJ performer with a very special presentation.
- Danna Paola: Internationally recognized actress and singer makes her debut as PJ host this year and takes the stage to captivate fans with her music. Danna Paola has 3 nominations.
- Lenin Ramírez: The beloved Mexican regional star will be part of a special performance, and has been nominated for Best Regional Mexican Collaboration.
- Mau y Ricky: The chart-topping Latin duo return to the stage to perform their hit “Mal Acostumbrao,” and for the first time on TV their latest single “LLorar y Llorar.” They have 2 PJ nominations.
- Prince Royce: Global bachata idol and winner of 20 PJ awards, Prince Royce, will debut as host, and deliver a vibrant performance on stage.
“Premios Juventud” will be hosted by Eduin Caz, Clarissa Molina, Danna Paola, and Prince Royce. While the pre-show “Noche de Estrellas,” the most dynamic and entertaining red carpet show, will be hosted by Carlos Ponce, Karina Banda, José Figueroa, Jomari Goyso, Roberto Hernández, Kiara Liz, and Borja Voces.
Univision will also be live on TikTok with Lindsay Casinelli and Sirey Morán bringing the inside scoop from the magenta carpet of “Premios Juventud.” The show will begin at 6 p.m. Eastern Time, showcasing the pre-ceremony atmosphere, artist looks and guest interviews.

MIAMI – 29 DE JUNIO DE 2022 – Hoy “Premios Juventud” (PJ) de Univision anunció la primera ronda de estrellas que se presentarán en la celebración más esperada del verano. Desde el pop latino hasta la música regional mexicana, el conjunto de artistas confirmados representa la diversidad de la música y la cultura latina, así como una mezcla de los intérpretes musicales más populares y emergentes. La transmisión de 4 horas se realizará EN VIVO desde el Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot el 21 de julio a las 7 p.m. hora del este y 6 p.m. hora del centro por Univision.
Bajo el lema “Celebra tu pasión”, esta 19a edición de “Premios Juventud” contará con actuaciones especiales y colaboraciones, así como inolvidables éxitos del verano interpretados por primera vez en televisión. Entre los artistas participantes figuran las siguientes estrellas:
- Ángela Aguilar: Con 7 nominaciones, incluyendo la recién agregada categoría de “Artista femenino – on the rise”, Aguilar está entre las más nominadas de la noche y nos deleitará en el escenario con su música.
- CNCO: La mega popular banda presentará por primera vez en televisión uno de sus más recientes éxitos. CNCO tiene 2 nominaciones este año, incluyendo a “Grupo favorito o dúo del año”.
- Grupo Firme: Uno de los más nominados de la noche, Grupo Firme, deleitará a los fanáticos de la música regional mexicana con la presentación de sus últimos éxitos: “El Tóxico” y “En tu Perra Vida”, entre otros. Grupo Firme tiene 7 nominaciones este año.
- Kenia Os: La popular creadora de contenido y cantante mexicana se suma como intérprete debutante en PJ con una presentación muy especial.
- Danna Paola: La actriz y cantante de renombre internacional hace su debut este año como presentadora de PJ y se sube al escenario para cautivar a los fans con su música. Danna Paola tiene 3 nominaciones.
- Lenin Ramírez: La querida estrella de la música regional mexicana será parte de una presentación especial y ha sido nominado a “Mejor colaboración de música regional mexicana”.
- Mau y Ricky: El dúo latino regresa al escenario para interpretar su éxito “Mal Acostumbrao” y, por primera vez en la televisión, su más reciente sencillo “Llorar y Llorar”. Tienen 2 nominaciones a PJ.
- Prince Royce: El ídolo mundial de la bachata y ganador de 20 premios PJ, Prince Royce, debutará como presentador y llevará sus grandes éxitos al escenario.
“Premios Juventud” será presentado por Eduin Caz, Clarissa Molina, Danna Paola y Prince Royce. Por su parte, la “Noche de Estrellas de los Premios Juventud”, el espectáculo de alfombra roja más dinámico y entretenido, será conducido por Carlos Ponce, Karina Banda, José Figueroa, Jomari Goyso, Roberto Hernández, Kiara Liz y Borja Voces.
Univision también estará en vivo en TikTok con Lindsay Casinelli y Sirey Morán trayendo las primicias desde la alfombra magenta de “Premios Juventud”.
