“Premios Juventud” Announces More World Premieres and First-Time on TV Performances for this Year’s Awaited Celebration
Recently Added Artists Include Chimbala, El Alfa, KAROL G, Nino Freestyle, Justin Quiles, Sebastián Yatra, Tainy, Tommy Torres, Yandel, and Zion & Lennox

MIAMI – JULY 8, 2021 – Today, Univision’s “Premios Juventud” added more Latin music superstars to its impressive performance lineup. Headlined by today’s hottest artist, the recently announced talent also includes Latin music’s rising stars. Summer’s most awaited celebration will air live from the Watsco Center in Miami on Thursday, July 22, starting with “PJ Takeover” at 7 p.m. ET on Univision.
PJ is preparing a celebration like no other, adding more memorable moments, including many summer hits performed for the first time on TV, two world premieres, and unique collaborations. The artists joining the show are:
- Chimbala, Justin Quiles, and Zion & Lennox: The reggaeton superstars will perform for the first time on TV their globally acclaimed collaboration “Loco.” Justin Quiles and Zion & Lennox have one nomination.
- El Alfa and Nino Freestyle: Will join reggaeton heavyweight Farruko, previously announced, on stage to perform their hit collaboration “No Hago Coro” and the popular song “Si Es Trucho Es Trucho.” El Alfa has one nomination and Farruko has five.
- KAROL G: The female global superstar returns to PJ as one of the most nominated artists of the night to perform for the first time on TV “200 Copas” from her highly successful and recently launched album “KG0516.” Karol G has 12 nominations.
- Sebastián Yatra: The Latin sensation and the mega-popular Myke Towers, confirmed in a previous announcement, will perform their hit summer song “Pareja del Año” for the first time on TV. Sebastián Yatra has two nominations and Myke Towers has nine.
- Tainy and Yandel: The reggaeton icons will perform the world premiere of their hit collaboration “Deja Vu.” Tainy has three nominations and Yandel one.
- Tommy Torres: The popular singer-songwriter will delight the fans with a world premiere from his upcoming production.
Previously announced performers included: Angela Aguilar, Chino y Nacho, Farruko, Fran Rozzano, Grupo Firme, Guaynaa, Jay Wheeler, Kali Uchis, Leonardo Aguilar, Los Ángeles Azules, Lunay, Marca MP, Myke Towers, Natti Natasha, Paloma Mami, Pepe Aguilar, Ricky Martin, Tini, and Yeison Jimenez.

MIAMI –8 DE JULIO DE 2021– Hoy “Premios Juventud” de Univision agregó más superestrellas de la música latina a su impresionante programa de premios a la música. Los artistas recién anunciados incluyen a muchos de los artistas más populares de la actualidad, además de nuevas estrellas de la música latina. La celebración más esperada del verano se trasmitirá en vivo el jueves, 22 de julio a las 7 p.m. Este/Pacífico por Univision desde el Watsco Center en Miami, comenzando con “PJ Takeover”.
PJ prepara una celebración sin igual que contará con momentos memorables, entre ellos muchos éxitos veraniegos presentados por primera vez en televisión, dos estrenos mundiales y colaboraciones únicas. Los artistas que se sumarán al show son:
- Chimbala, Justin Quiles y Zion & Lennox: Las superestrellas del reguetón presentarán por primera vez en televisión su colaboración “Loco”, que se ha convertido en un éxito mundial. Justin Quiles y Zion & Lennox tienen una nominación.
- El Alfa y Nino Freestyle: Se sumarán en el escenario al aclamado cantante Farruko, cuya participación ya se anunció, para presentar su exitosa colaboración “No hago coro” y la popular canción “Si es trucho, es trucho”. El Alfa tiene una nominación, y Farruko tiene cinco.
