UniMás Tops CBS and FOX on Saturday Night Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49

UniMás Bests FOX and The CW on Sunday Night with Double-To-Triple Digit Audience Advantages Among 18-34 

UniMás Outperforms The CW for the 33rd and 38th Consecutive Week During Primetime Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, Respectively 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 31, 2020 to September 6, 2020 

  • On Saturday night, UniMás out-delivered CBS (+11% adv.) and FOX (+7% adv.) among Adults 18-49 with a movie line-up that included (“CineNight: Proof of Life” and “Cineplex: Catwoman”). UniMás also outperformed CBS by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+15% adv.) and bested FOX by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+13% adv.). This marked the fourth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed CBS among Adults 18-34. This also marked the third straight Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered FOX among Adults 18-49. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+50% to 477,000), Adults 18-49 (+24% to 197,000) and Adults 18-34 (+14% to 64,000). 
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed FOX (+26% adv.) and The CW (+263% adv.) by double-to-triple digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a line-up that included (“Cineplex: World War Z,” “CineMás: Max Payne” and “Major League Soccer: LA Galaxy vs. LAFC”). UniMás also out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+185% adv.) for the entire night. Airing from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the broadcast of “Cineplex: World War Z” and “CineMás: Max Payne” increased the time period by double-digits week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+12% to 84,000). The movie also delivered year-over-year audience growth to the time slot among Adults 18-49 (+9% to 178,000) and Adults 18-34 (+12% to 84,000). Kicking off at 10:30 p.m., the “Major League Soccer” showdown between LA Galaxy and LAFC averaged 303,000 Total Viewers 2+, 174,000 Adults 18-49 and 79,000 Adults 18-34. The soccer match also increased the network’s 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time period by double-to-triple digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+22%), Adults 18-49 (+44%) and Adults 18-34 (+108%). 
  • UniMás delivered year-over-year primetime audience growth among Adults 18-34 (+6% to 56,000). UniMás also outperformed The CW by double-digits during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+28% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+93% adv.), marking the 33rd and 38th consecutive week that it has topped The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively. 
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-34 (+22% to 50,000), marking the third consecutive week of audience growth among the Adult 18-34 demographic. “Guerreros” also positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 (+47% adv.). 
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” increased its audience by double-digits week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+13% to 44,000), marking the second consecutive week of double-digit audience growth among this demographic. 
  • UniMás’ Friday night 8 p.m. movie presentation, “Cineplex: Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” averaged 252,000 Total Viewers 2+, 122,000 Adults 18-49 and 49,000 Adults 18-34. The movie increased its audience throughout its airing with double-digit gains in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+57%) and Adults 18-34 (+94%). The film also topped The CW in the Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+74% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+250% adv.). 
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+76% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+81% adv.).
