UniMás Tops Telemundo on Sunday Night Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás’ New Reality Competition Series, “Guerreros,” Delivers Double-Digit Year-Over-Year Audience Growth in the Time Period Across Key Demos

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 29, 2020 to July 5, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás out-delivered CBS (+10% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: XXX: State of the Union” and “CineNight: I Am Legend”), marking the eighth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed CBS among Adults 18-34. UniMás also out-delivered FOX among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+32% adv.) for the entire night. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 481,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed FOX, The CW and Telemundo among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: A Man Apart” and “CineMás: The Book of Eli”). UniMás also out-delivered The CW (+43% adv.) by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ for the entire night. This marked the seventh consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has outperformed The CW among Total Viewers 2+ and the 30th consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+13% to 599,000), Adults 18-49 (+24% to 286,000) and Adults 18-34 (+47% to 129,000).
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+6% to 68,000) and delivered an average audience of 386,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 182,000 Adults 18-49 for the entire week. UniMás also outperformed The CW by double-to-triple digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+21% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+100% adv.), marking the 24th and 29th consecutive week that it has out-delivered The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • In its premiere week, UniMás’ new weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+27% to 62,000). The reality series also delivered double-digit audience growth to the time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+11% to 164,000) and Adults 18-34 (+41% to 62,000). “Guerreros” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period for the entire week among Adults 18-49 (+2% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+72% adv.).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 327,000), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 160,000) and Adults 18-34 (+4% to 49,000). The newscast also delivered audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+7%).
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+72% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+143% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+119% adv.) for the entire week.
