Mother’s Day Special Airs on Sunday, May 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Univision
MIAMI – MAY 4, 2020 – To celebrate a heartfelt and especially meaningful Mother’s Day during these unprecedented times, Univision will present “Por Ellas, Celebrando a las Madres” (For Them, Celebrating Mothers), a TV special commemorating the mother figures in our lives. Together por ellas (for them), from our home to yours, celebrate en familia (with family) with Univision’s beloved hosts Rafael Araneda, Chiquinquirá Delgado and Alejandra Espinoza in a special 2-hour broadcast this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The special will include musical performances, interviews and many touching surprises, all with a unique cultural touch and a lot of love. In addition, we’ll hear from moms in the TV and music industry, new moms, moms-to-be, and how moms are adapting to the new normal at home due to COVID-19.
The musical performances include artists Alex Fernández and Sebastián Yatra, who will perform alongside their moms. Also performing are Camilo, Jesse & Joy, and Christian Nodal. Prince Royce will dedicate a special rendition of one of his hits to all the mothers working on the front line as nurses and doctors.
In addition, the TV and music personalities who will share inspirational stories and surprises include Luis Coronel, Marlene Favela, Michelle Galván, Bibi Gaytán, Jomari Goyso, Maribel Guardia with her son Julian Figueroa, Larry Hernández, Joy Huerta, Sherlyn, and Yuri. The Mother’s Day celebration wouldn’t be complete without the kids and in an endearing segment, Univision personalities Satcha Pretto, Ana Patricia Gámez and Adriana Monsalve will share a special moment on camera with their children.

MIAMI – 4 DE MAYO DE 2020 – Para celebrar un Día de la Madre emotivo y especialmente significativo durante este momento sin precedente, Univision presentará “Por Ellas, Celebrando a las Madres”, un especial de televisión que conmemorará a quienes cumplen el papel de madre en nuestra vida. Juntos por ellas, de nuestro hogar al suyo, celebren en familia con los populares presentadores de Univision Rafael Araneda, Chiquinquirá Delgado y Alejandra Espinoza en un especial de dos horas que se trasmitirá este domingo a las 8 p.m. Este/Pacífico.
El especial incluirá actos musicales, entrevistas y muchas sorpresas conmovedoras, todo con un toque cultural particular y mucho amor. Además, oiremos de mamás en el mundo de la televisión y la música, mamás nuevas y futuras, y mamás que se adaptan a la nueva realidad en casa debido al COVID-19.
Las actuaciones musicales incluirán a los artistas Alex Fernández y Sebastián Yatra, quienes se presentarán junto a sus mamás. También se presentarán Camilo, Jesse & Joy, y Christian Nodal. Prince Royce dedicará una versión especial de uno de sus éxitos a todas las madres que trabajan en el frente como enfermeras y doctoras.
