UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 26, 2019 to September 1, 2019
- For the entire week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 364,000), Adults 18-49 (+23% to 169,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% to 78,000), marking the second consecutive week of audience growth with Adults 18-34.
- UniMás also increased its primetime audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 364,000), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 169,000) and Adults 18-34 (+5% to 78,000).
- Driven by the special live coverage of “Liga MX – Apertura 2019 Atlas vs América,” UniMás out-delivered The CW on Friday night with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+51% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+57% adv.).
- Atlas vs América delivered 802,000 Total Viewers 2+, 437,000 Adults 18-49 and 171,000 Adults 18-34. It ranked among the top 10 most-watched programs on broadcast television with more Adult 18-49 viewers than first-run episodes of The CW’s “Masters of Illusion” and “The Big Stage” and Telemundo’s “Exatlón Estados Unidos” and “Preso No. 1.”
- On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with triple-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+111% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+178% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Chinese Zodiac” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: Terminator Salvation,” marking the fourteenth consecutive Sunday with Adults 18-49. The Sunday night movie-lineup also delivered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 531,000), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 259,000) and Adults 18-34 (+56% to 136,000) to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
- UniMás’ weeknight “Cineplex” movie line-up of “Ghost Rider,” “The Wife He Met Online,” “Fire With Fire,” “Knight And Day” and “Tracers” increased the network’s Monday through Friday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 213,000) versus the previous week.
- UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. news program, “Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna” increased its audience by double-digits week-to-week among Adults 18-34 (+17% to 35,000).
- Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: The Impossible” and “Cineplex: Shoot ‘Em Up,” UniMás increased its Saturday 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. time period week-to-week by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+62% to 518,000), Adults 18-49 (+55% to 253,000) and Adults 18-34 (+70% to 129,000).
- UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+38% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+99% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+95% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
