WHAT: “Los Cousins” (The Cousins), a new comedy created by Galavisión, the No. 1 Spanish-language cable network in the U.S., will hit screens this Monday, October 22. Following the success of a series of webisodes, the original production is making the jump to TV and will delight audiences every Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT.
The fun-filled series introduces viewers to unique characters who experience hilarious situations that Hispanics living in the U.S. will identify with. “Los Cousins” tells the story of two cousins (Luis and Miguel) who get back together after one of them decides to pursue the American Dream and joins his family in the U.S. They will have to adapt to the American life and to each other’s quirks when they try their luck in this country.
Luis Manuel Ávila (Junior on “La Familia P. Luche”) plays Luis, a hardworking man from northern Mexico who arrives without knowing a word of English and is taken in by his cousin, who has been in Los Angeles for several years with his grandmother. José Miguel Pérez (Ludoviquito on “La Familia P. Luche) plays Miguel “Mike,” a young man who, after adapting and learning the language, starts to leave his roots behind, but teaching his cousin how to live in L.A. brings him back to his roots.

“Los Cousins” se estrena en Galavisión el lunes 22 de octubre
QUÉ: “Los Cousins”, la nueva comedia creada por Galavisión, la cadena de entretenimiento número uno de televisión por cable en español en Estados Unidos, llega a las pantallas este lunes 22 de octubre. Después de su éxito en formato digital con una serie de episodios cortos, la producción original da el salto a la televisión para alegrar a la audiencia todos los lunes a las 8:30 p.m. Este/7:30 p.m. Centro.
La divertida serie presenta personajes únicos que vivirán situaciones hilarantes con las que los Hispanos que viven en Estados Unidos se identificarán. “Los Cousins” cuenta la historia de dos primos (Luis y Miguel) que se reúnen cuando uno de ellos decide ir por el sueño americano y reencontrarse con su familia que ya está en EE. UU. Ellos tendrán que adaptarse a la vida americana y a las manías de cada uno mientras prueban suerte en el país.
Luis Manuel Ávila (Junior en La Familia P.luche) le da vida a Luis, un hombre del norte de México noble y trabajador que llega sin saber una palabra de inglés y es amparado por su primo que ya lleva varios años en Los Ángeles con su abuela. José Miguel Pérez (Ludoviquito en La Familia P.luche) interpreta a Miguel “Mike”, un joven que después de adaptarse y aprender el idioma, se aleja un poco de sus raíces pero al llegar su primo se ve obligado a regresar a su realidad y a enseñarle cómo vivir en Los Ángeles.
