For Twelve Consecutive Weeks, UniMás Delivered Year-Over-Year Audience Growth in Primetime Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 11, 2017 to December 17, 2017

Last week, UniMás averaged 742,000 Total Viewers 2+, 331,000 Adults 18-49 and 129,000 Adults 18-34 in primetime, increasing its Adult 18-49 audience by +5% versus the prior week.

UniMás also increased its audience during primetime from the same week in 2016 with Total Viewers 2+ (+51%), Adults 18-49 (+39%) and Adults 18-34 (+42%).

UniMás’ weeknight epic drama, airing at 9pm, “La Tierra Prometida”:

  • Averaged 1.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 453,000 among Adults 18-49 and 173,000 among Adults 18-34 last week
  • Delivered week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%) and Adults 18-49 (+15%) as well as year-over-year audience growth to the network’s time-period among Total Viewers 2+ (+186%), Adults 18-49 (+122%) and Adults 18-34 (+114%).
  • Outperformed Telemundo head-to-head in the 9pm hour on Monday through Friday last week among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+2% adv.).

UniMás’ 10pm series, “Lady, La Vendedora Rosas” reported week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 516,000), Adults 18-49 (+28% to 255,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% to 112,000) while also attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (123%), Adults 18-49 (+111%) and Adults 18-34 (+149%) to the weeknight 10pm hour compared to the same week in 2016.

On Monday and Tuesday, UniMás, on average, out-delivered CW among Adults 18-49 (+11% adv., 333,000 vs. 301,000) and Adults 18-34 (+19% adv., 135,000 vs. 113,000).

On Saturday night, UniMás increased its Total Viewers 2+ (+28% to 797,000), Adult 18-49 (+51% to 386,000) and Adult 18-34 (+44% to 130,000) audience levels from prior Saturday performance with a back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: Su Excelencia” and “Cineplex Saturday: Knight and Day.”

UniMás experienced year-over-year audience gains on Sunday night with a back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine De Las Estrellas Sunday: Brick Mansions” and “Cine De Las Estrellas Sunday 2: Machine Gun Preacher,” among Total Viewers 2+ (+57% to 724,000), Adults 18-49 (+64% to 355,000) and Adults 18-34 (+58% to 136,000).

UniMás, delivered on average, more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+102% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+130% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+132% adv.).
