UniMás Continues Strong Start to the 2017/2018 Season with Eleven Consecutive Weeks of Year-Over-Year Audience Growth Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Sunday Night, Outperforming Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Last week, UniMás averaged 756,000 Total Viewers 2+, 316,000 Adults 18-49 and 134,000 Adults 18-34 in primetime while also increasing its audience from the same week in 2016 with Total Viewers 2+ (+33%), Adults 18-49 (+5%) and Adults 18-34 (+9%).

In its premiere week, UniMás’ “La Niña” delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+56% to 726,000), Adults 18-49 (+37% to 284,000) and Adults 18-34 (+76% to 130,000) versus the debut week of its 8pm predecessor “Totalmente Diva.”

In its new time-period (M-F 9pm-10pm), UniMás’ weeknight epic drama “La Tierra Prometida”:

  • Averaged 1.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 393,000 among Adults 18-49 and 175,000 among Adults 18-34 last week.
  • Outperformed Telemundo’s “Sangre De Mi Tierra” head-to-head in the 9pm hour from Monday through Friday among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%, 1,055,000 vs. 985,000).

UniMás 10pm series, “Lady, La Vendedora Rosas” reported week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 483,000) while also attracting more Adults 18-49 (+21%), Adults 18-34 (+23%) and Total Viewers 2+ (+67%) to the weeknight 10pm hour compared to the same week in 2016.

On Saturday night, UniMás increased its Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 589,000) and Adult 18-49 (+8% to 239,000) audience levels from prior Saturday performance with a back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: Entrega Inmediata” and “Cineplex Sat: Transporter 2.”

Driven by its back-to-back movie line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun: Drive Angry” and “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun 2: Red Dawn,” UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Sunday night, outperforming Telemundo by +4% among Total Viewers 2+ (859,000 vs. 825,000), +42% among Adults 18-49 (451,000 vs. 318,000) and +59% among Adults 18-34 (184,000 vs. 116,000).

UniMás, delivered on average, more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+126% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+132% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+173% adv.).
