UniMás Continues Strong Start to the Season with Seventh Consecutive Week of Year-Over-Year Audience Growth Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Sunday Night, Outperforming Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 6, 2017 to November 12, 2017

Averaging its highest-rated weekly primetime performance in the current 2017/2018 season, UniMás registered double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+83% to 834,000), Adults 18-49 (+67% to 363,000) and Adults 18-34 (+62% to 138,000) versus comparable week in the 2016/2017 season while also increasing its audience week-to-week by +15% each among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

  • UniMás’ weeknight 8pm epic drama “La Tierra Prometida,” reported week-to-week audience gains from the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 1,295,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% to 508,000) as well as achieving its highest-rated weekly performance to-date.
  • UniMás’ 9pm series, “Totalmente Diva” also reported week-to-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 740,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% to 310,000). Versus comparable week in the 2016/2017 season, “Totalmente Diva” attracted significantly more Total Viewers 2+ (+96%), Adults 18-49 (+63%) and Adults 18-34 (+29%) to the 9pm weeknight hour.
  • UniMás 10pm series, “Lady, La Vendedora Rosas” grew its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+13% to 403,000), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 184,000) and Adults 18-34 (+5% to 80,000).

For the fourth consecutive week, UniMás out-delivered CW among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% adv., 728,000 vs. 654,000) on Friday night.

On Saturday night, UniMás increased its Adult 18-49 (+4% to 338,000) and Adult 18-34 (+5% to 132,000) audience levels from prior Saturday performance with a back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: El Portero” and “Cineplex Sat: Shark Night 3D.”

Driven by its back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun: Live Free or Die Hard” and “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun 2: Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Sunday night, outperforming Telemundo by +7% among Total Viewers 2+ (967,000 vs. 900,000), +17% among Adults 18-49 (488,000 vs. 418,000) and +18% among Adults 18-34 (219,000 vs. 186,000).

UniMás, delivered on average, more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+103% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+97% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+82% adv.).
