UniMás Beat Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+, Finishing Week as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network

Led by “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos,” UniMás is the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network During Weekday Prime Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

Week of May 1, 2017 to May 7, 2017

UniMás averaged 899,000 Total Viewers 2+, 413,000 Adults 18-49 and 166,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week during prime.

  • Compared to the corresponding week in 2016, the network reported double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+51%), Adults 18-49 (+32%) and Adults 18-34 (+21%).
  • UniMás finished the week as the No. 2 Spanish-language network among Total Viewers 2+, outperforming Telemundo by +1% (899,000 vs. 894,000).

During weekday prime (M-F 8-11pm), UniMás delivered its second highest-rated week in the current 2016/2017 season with 1.0 Million Total Viewers 2+, 456,000 Adults 18-49 and 183,000 Adults 18-34.

  • UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network during weekday prime (M-F 8-11pm), out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% adv., 1,008,000 vs. 962,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% adv., 456,000 vs. 445,000).
  • 8pm series, “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” (Moses and the Ten Commandments) enjoyed week-to-week audience gains across key demographics including, Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 1.2 Million), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 522,000) and Adults 18-34 (+9% to 209,000).
    • Head-to-head from 8 to 10pm, “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” out-delivered Telemundo (average of Monday’s 8pm finale of “La Doña,” Tue-Fri 8pm “El Capo” and M-F 9pm “Guerra de Ídolos”) by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+27% adv., 1.2 Million vs. 948,000), Adults 18-49 (+26% adv., 529,000 vs. 420,000) and Adults 18-34 (+13% adv., 212,000 vs. 187,000).
  • UniMás’ new 10pm series, “El Bienamado” (The Beloved One), delivered 522,000 Total Viewers 2+, 272,000 Adults 18-49 and 112,000 Adults 18-34 in its first week (Tuesday-Friday). Compared to the previous four rated weeks (02/21/17-03/17/17), it grew the time period (Tue-Fri 10-11pm) by strong margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+108%), Adults 18-49 (+125%) and Adults 18-34 (+138%).

On Sunday night, UniMás reported audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 758,000), Adults 18-49 (+18% to 392,000) and Adults 18-34 (+32% to 160,000) over the prior Sunday thanks to its lineup which consisted of back-to-back movies, “Cineplex: Red” and “Cine de las Estrellas: Rogue” followed by the 10pm series, “La Hermandad.”

UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+172%), Adults 18-49 (+189%) and Adults 18-34 (+246%) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV.
