NEW YORK – MAY 9, 2017 – Univision New York WXTV 41, the New York area’s premier Spanish-language television station, won eight Emmy® awards at this year’s New York Emmy® Awards ceremony. Univision New York WXTV 41 took home Emmys® for “The Zookeeper” in the Feature News Report: Light Feature category, as well as for news coverage on Community Service and Health topics, and for musical composition and makeup.
Every year, the prestigious New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) honors excellence in broadcasting among the New York tristate area industry’s finest. The 60th Annual New York Emmy® Awards ceremony was held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at The Marriott Marquis’ Broadway Ballroom.
