UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network, Ahead of Telemundo on Saturday Night Among Both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” Continues to Out-Deliver Telemundo’s Telenovela “La Fan” for the Seventh Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers

Week of February 27, 2017 to March 5, 2017

  • Last week, UniMás delivered 770,000 Total Viewers 2+, 365,000 Adults 18-49 and 151,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
  • UniMás “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” achieved its highest-rated weekly performance this past week with 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+ and 653,000 Adults 18-49 while also averaged more young 18 to 34 viewers (+49% to 240,000) to the network’s Monday through Friday 8pm hour from the comparable week last year.
  • For the seventh consecutive week, UniMás’ “Moises y Los Diez Mandamientos” also out-delivered Telemundo’s telenovela “La Fan” head-to-head in the weeknight 8pm to 9pm time slot among both Total Viewers 2+ (1.5 million vs. 1.1 million; +36% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (653,000 vs. 473,000; +38% adv.) as well as for the third consecutive week among Adults 18-34 (240,000 vs 216,000; +11% adv.).
  • UniMás weekday 9pm dramatic series “Mujeres De Negros” delivered over half-a-million Total Viewers 2+ (514,000) and averaged more Adults 18-49 (+28% to 248,000) and Adults 18-34 (+19% to 107,000) compared to the same week as its predecessor, “La Viuda Negra.”
  • On Saturday night, UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network during primetime, out-delivering Telemundo with strong audience advantages of +8% among Adults 18-49 (433,000) and +18% among Adults 18-34 (199,000).
    • UniMás’ “Cine Cantinflas: El Siete Machos” significantly boosted the network’s ratings in the 7pm to 9pm time slot from the comparable week last year among Total Viewers 2+ (+56% to 790,000), Adults 18-49 (+36% to 356,000) and Adults 18-34 (+29% to 163,000).
    • Featuring the 2011 sci-fi action film “In Time,” UniMás averaged 786,000 Total Viewers 2+ and outperformed Telemundo’s “Cine Millonario: Ender’s Game” in both the key 18 to 49 (432,000 vs. 382,000; +13% adv.) and 18 to 34 (196,000 vs. 161,000; +22% adv.) demographics.
  • UniMás’ new Sunday 10pm dramatic series “La Hermandad” starring Manolo Cardona, Paz Vega and Stephanie Cayo, debuted to an average audience of 393,000 Total Viewers 2+, 209,000 Adults 18-49 and 103,000 Adults 18-34. It also drew in significantly more Viewers 2+ (+57%), Adults 18-49 (+34%) and Adults 18-34 (+16%) than the premiere telecast of its predecessor, “Club De Cuervos.”
  • With a median age of 40 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while also averaged two times more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
