“Vino El Amor” (Then Came Love) Helps Univision Network Finish as No. 3 Broadcast Network for the Week in the 9pm Hour Among Young Adults 18-34, Ahead of FOX and CBS

On Friday Night Univision Ranked No. 2 Among Young Adults 18-34 and Held the No. 4 Position with Adults 18-49, Ahead of FOX for the Fourth Consecutive Week

Airing Monday-Friday, Univision’s prime novela lineup reported gains in every hour over the previous week with Total Viewers 2+.

  • Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) grew its audience week-to-week and attracted 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+2%), 760,000 Adults 18-49 (+1%) and 365,000 young Adults 18-34 (+2%).
  • At 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) also built its viewership over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 2.4 million), Adults 18-49 (+5% to 1.0 Million) and young Adults 18-34 (+6% to 478,000). The 9pm novela helped Univision rank as the No. 3 broadcast network with young Adults 18-34, beating FOX (+9%) and CBS (+18%) during the Mon-Fri 9pm hour.
  • Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) grew its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 2.3 Million) and delivered 1.0 Million Adults 18-49 and 424,000 young Adults 18-34. Univision also ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 during the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, besting NBC (+12%) and CBS (+23%).

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights last week among young Adults 18-34.

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the No. 4 Broadcast network, out-delivering NBC (+16%) with young Adults 18-34.
  • Univision ranked as the No. 4 Broadcast network for the second consecutive Thursday night, out-delivering both CBS (+27%) and NBC (+67%) with young Adults 18-34. Univision also out-delivered CBS (+7%) among Adults 18-49, finishing the night as the No. 4 broadcast network.
  • Univision was the No. 2 broadcast network Friday night with young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS (+26%), FOX (+50%) and NBC (+30%). Univision also maintained its No. 4 rank with Adults 18-49, attracting +17% more viewers than FOX for the fourth consecutive Friday.
  • Airing back-to-back Liga MX matches on Saturday night, Univision averaged more young Adults 18-34 than CBS (+5%).
  • Univision held the No. 4 Broadcast Network rank on Sunday night with young Adults 18-34, averaging +39% more young Adults 18-34 than NBC.
    • At 7pm “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 481,000 Adults 18-49 and 200,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • At 8pm Univision’s dramatic Series “Su nombre era Dolores: La Jenn que yo conocí” (Her Name was Dolores: The Jenn I Knew) averaged 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 748,000 Adults 18-49 and 335,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Following at 10pm “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) delivered 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 738,000 Adults 18-49 and 303,000 young Adults 18-34.
