Sara Hasson is senior vice president of Strategy & Insights, Automotive for Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. In this role, she leads a consulting team of media, marketing and agency professionals in driving strategy development and execution for advertisers and partners seeking to reach the Hispanic consumer.
Since joining Univision in 1999, Hasson has worked exclusively with national, regional and local automotive client and agency personnel, providing research and insights, and creating marketing solutions to drive sales and market share.
Hasson has partnered with auto manufacturers and research partners to customize and deliver sessions on Hispanic marketing for industry executives, regions, associations, dealers, and agencies aimed at building the business case for marketing to the Hispanic consumer utilizing demographic trends, consumer insights, category analysis, competitive benchmarking and industry best practices. She has also led high-profile automotive research projects with GfK, J.D. Power, IHS Polk, Media Predict and Shareablee, as well as Hispanic consumer focus groups on the new vehicle purchase process. In addition, Hasson is in-demand speaker at industry conferences.
Prior to joining Univision, Hasson worked for 14 years in national and regional automotive advertising account management for both Hispanic and Non-Hispanic consumers in the U.S., as well as in Latin America.
A native of Wisconsin, Hasson speaks fluent Spanish. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in advertising and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
