UniMás Has Delivered Consistent Weekly Audience Growth in the Last Five Consecutive Weeks During Weekday Primetime Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

Week of November 21, 2016 to November 27, 2016

  • Last week, UniMás delivered 569,000 Total Viewers 2+, 281,000 Adults 18-49 and 109,000 young Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
  • UniMás has consistently increased its weekday primetime audience in the last five consecutive weeks with strong week-to-week audience gains among all Viewers 2+ (+19% to 557,000), Adults 18-49 (+20% to 274,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+6% to 108,000).
  • All three of UniMás weekday dramatic series achieved their highest-rated weekly performance thus far this past week in the key 18 to 49 demographic with strong week-to-week audience gains of +2% for “Moises y Los Diez Mandamientos” (381,000), +19% for “La Viuda Negra” (231,000) and +18% for “Bloque De Búsqueda” (143,000).
  • On Thursday night, UniMás movie presentations of “¡A Volar Joven!” and “El Ministro y Yo” as the featured films for “Cine Cantinflas” significantly boosted the network’s ratings in the 7:00pm to 11:00pm time slot from that of the prior Thursday (11/17/2016) among Total Viewers 2+ (+68% to 730,000), Adults 18-49 (+46% to 139,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+60% to 341,000).
  • Airing from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday night, UniMás’ “Cine Cantinflas – Caballero a La Medida” attracted more viewers than Telemundo’s movie airing of “Cine Millonario – The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” on this night (8:00pm-11:00pm) among Total Viewers 2+ (960,000 vs. 744,000; +29% adv.), Adults 18-49 (440,000 vs. 360,000; +22% adv.) and young Adults 18-34 (189,000 vs. 170,000; +11% Adv.).
  • Saturday night’s two-hour broadcast of “Velvet” on UniMás delivered strong audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+17% to 420,000) and Adults 18-49 (+11% to 179,000) compared to its last airing on (11/12/2016), making it the series’ highest-rated telecast.
  • Featuring the 2004 superhero film “Blade Trinity” on Sunday night, UniMás’ “Cine De Las Estrellas” drew in 913,000 Total Viewers 2+, 500,000 Adults 18-49 and 190,000 young Adults 18-34. The movie ranks within the top 5 feature films on the UniMás network in the current 2016/2017 season among the key Adult 18-49 viewers.
  • Returning from a one-week hiatus, both of UniMás’ Sunday night dramatic series increased their audience from the prior telecast (11/13/2016) by +62% for “La Embajada” (154,000) and +21% for “Club de Cuervos” (77,000) among Adults 18-49.
  • With a median age of 38 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while also averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+31% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+38% adv.) and young Adults 18-34 (+24% adv.).
