Jorge Ramos and Alicia Menendez to Moderate Conversation with Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson and Vice Presidential Candidate William Weld — Will Air on FUSION Aug 17 @ 8PM

NEW YORK – AUGUST 12, 2016 — FUSION (@Fusion) today announced that Jorge Ramos (@JorgeRamosNews) and Alicia Menendez (@AliciaMenendez) will moderate a one-hour FORUM with the Libertarian Party ticket, former New Mexico governor and presidential candidate Gary Johnson and former Massachusetts governor and vice presidential candidate William Weld. In addition to touching on the state of the 2016 presidential race the conversation will focus on the issues that matter to the rising American mainstream, which is more diverse than ever before. Ramos and Menendez will be joined in the questioning the candidates by a range of FUSION contributors including Correspondents Dan Lieberman, Kimberly Brooks, Alaa Basatneh, Natasha del Toro, Danny Rivero, Anna Sterling and Environmental Correspondent Nico Ibarguen, among others. They will touch on topics that include criminal justice, immigration reform, LGBT rights, guns, climate change, income inequality among others. The FUSION Libertarian Forum will air in primetime Wednesday, August 17 @ 8PM on FUSION (channel listings). The forum will also stream live across FUSION.net and social channels.

FUSION has a standing invitation to Democratic, Republican, and Green Party candidates for interviews. In February, Mr. Trump said he would sit down with FUSION and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, but has not agreed to schedule that interview to-date. Secretary Clinton participated in the Iowa Brown and Black Forum hosted by FUSION in January.
