UniMás Outperformed Telemundo for the Quarter as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Saturday Nights

UniMás Reported Season-to-Date Audience Growth with Total Viewers 2+ (+25%), Adults 18-49 (+19%) and Young Adults 18-34 (+13%)

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 20, 2016 to June 26, 2016

  • UniMás finished 2nd quarter as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+17%), Adults 18-49 (+30%) and young Adults 18-34 (+31%).
    • UniMás out-ranked Telemundo on 11 out of 13 Saturday nights among both Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49. UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo on 9 out of 13 nights with young Adults 18-34.
    • Thus far in the 2015/16 Season, UniMás outranks Telemundo as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+6%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and young Adults 18-34 (+16%).
  • Airing its regularly scheduled back-to-back movie lineup this past Saturday, UniMás clinched the No. 2 Spanish-language rank, beating Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+12%).
    • At 7pm, the Cine Cantinflas movie presentation of “Romeo y Julieta” attracted 618,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+42%), 269,000 Adults 18-49 (+78%) and 113,000 young Adults 18-34 (+79%), delivering more viewers than the previous week’s title “Caballero a la Medida”.  Airing head-to-head with Telemundo’s “Qué Noche,” UniMás’ movie presentation averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+63%) and young Adults 18-34 (+113%) than Telemundo.
  • In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season with Total Viewers 2+ (+25%), Adults 18-49 (+19%) and young Adults 18-34 (+13%) during broadcast prime.
  • UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+25%), Adults 18-49 (+50%) and young Adults 18-34 (+44%) viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.
