KUVS 19 Univision Sacramento Received Highest Number of Awards with 18
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – JUNE 7, 2016 – Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), the leading media company serving Hispanic America, today announced that its Local Media television stations in Sacramento, the Bay Area and Fresno were honored with a total 27 Northern California Area Emmy® Awards at ceremony on June 4th in San Francisco. Sacramento’s KUVS Univision 19 received the Overall Excellence/News Excellence Emmy® as well as the highest number of awards with 18 wins. The Bay Area’s KDTV Univision 14 won eight awards, including five for reporter María Leticia Gómez and four for producer Luis Godínez. Fresno’s KFTV Univision 21 received the Evening Newscast-Medium Market statuette for “Noticias 21 a las 6” (News 21 at 6).

ESTACIONES DE MEDIOS LOCALES DE UNIVISION EN EL NORTE DE CALIFORNIA SON ACLAMADAS CON 27 PREMIOS EMMY® REGIONALES
KUVS 19 Univision Sacramento recibió el mayor número de premios, 18
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – 7 DE JUNIO DE 2016 – Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), la principal empresa de medios de comunicación al servicio de la comunidad hispana en los Estados Unidos, anunció hoy que sus estaciones de televisión de Medios Locales en Sacramento, el Área de la Bahía y Fresno recibieron un total de 27 premios Emmy® de la filial del Norte de California durante la ceremonia del 4 de junio en San Francisco. KUVS Univision 19 Sacramento recibió el Emmy® por el Excelencia General/Excelencia en Noticias, y también fue la estación más galardonada, con 18 premios. KDTV Univision 14 del Área de la Bahía ganó ocho premios, entre ellos cinco a la reportera María Leticia Gómez y cuatro al productor Luis Godínez. KFTV Univision 21 Fresno recibió la estatuilla al mejor Noticiero Nocturno-Mercados Medianos, por “Noticias 21 a las 6”.
“Este reconocimiento es un gran honor para nosotros y lo aceptamos con humildad.
