Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 2, 2016 to May 8, 2016

  • Last week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Also, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on three nights among young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 781,000 Adults 18-49 and 355,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Next, in its premiere week, “Yago” averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 805,000 Adults 18-49 and 379,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 10pm, “El Hotel de los Secretos” (The Hotel of Secrets) averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 841,000 Adults 18-49 and 330,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Saturday, Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming FOX in both demographics…
    • Airing 8-9pm, the Mother’s Day special “Íntimamente… Compartiendo Entre Amigas” averaged 744,000 Total Viewers 2+, 289,000 Adults 18-49 and 115,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Next, “Crónicas de Sábado” averaged 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 530,000 Adults 18-49 and 226,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Airing 10-11pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% to 1.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+25% to 551,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+28% to 208,000).
    • Univision’s entire Saturday prime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday…
    • Airing 7-8pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) averaged 949,000 Total Viewers 2+, 366,000 Adults 18-49 and 159,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Airing 8-10:05pm, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 845,000 Adults 18-49 and 389,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Finally, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+7% to 870,000).
    • Univision’s entire Sunday prime lineup ranked among the top 25 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+.
