UniMás Beat Telemundo Among Young Adults 18-34 for the Entire Week; Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network

For the Second Consecutive Week, UniMás Outperformed Telemundo on Saturday and Sunday with Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the entire week, beating Telemundo among young Adults 18-34 (+1%).

UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network delivering more than double Telemundo’s audience for the entire weekend among Total Viewers 2+ (+129%), Adults 18-49 (+182%) and triple the young Adults 18-34 viewers (+205%). In fact, season-to-date, UniMás is the top pick over Telemundo for the entire weekend with Total Viewers 2+ (+1%), Adults 18-49 (+6%) and young Adults 18-34 (+1%).

  • UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the tenth consecutive Saturday night and reported double-digit percentage gains over Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+75%) and young Adults 18-34 (+85%). UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+52%) on Saturday night.
    • Airing head-to-head, UniMás’ Cine Cantinflas film “A Volar Joven!” attracted 852,000 Total Viewers 2+, 347,000 Adults 18-49 and 145,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Following at 9pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “Love Lies Bleeding” delivered 740,000 Total Viewers 2+, 339,000 Adults 18-49 and 168,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • In fact, UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out-delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche” and “America’s Funniest Videos” with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás maintained its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo for the second consecutive week attracting more than triple the Adults 18-49 (+229%) and young Adults 18-34 (+258%). UniMás also beat Telemundo on Sunday with Total Viewers 2+ (+174%). Thus far in the season, UniMás outranks Telemundo on Sunday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%).
    • UniMás kicked off the night with the feature film presentation “Knight and Day.” The telecast garnered 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 689,000 Adults 18-49 and 312,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • At 9:20pm, the Súper Clásico soccer match on UniMás averaged 2.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49 and 921,000 young Adults 18-34. The match ranked as the highest rated club soccer match on any network since 2010 among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.
      • Telecast reached 4.7 million Total Viewers 2+ and 2.9 million Adults 18-49.
      • Telecast grew +1% among Total Viewers 2+ and +5% among Adults 18-49 from the Clausura 2015 Súper Clásico on Univision.

Airing Monday-Friday at 8pm, Rosa de Guadalupe reported week-over-week audience gains with Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 619,000) and Adults 18-49 (+5% to 331,000).

Airing at 9pm, the Monday-Friday dramatic series “Lady Vendedora de Rosas” built its week-over-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 716,000).

In its second week, UniMás’ dramatic series “La Viuda Negra 2” (Black Widow 2) built it audience at 10pm among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 634,000), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 376,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+2% to 183,000).

UniMás reported week-over week primetime audience gains Total Viewers 2+ (+37% to 873,000), Adults 18-49 (+38% to 490,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+32% to 233,000).

Versus the same week a year ago (03/09/15 – 03/15/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+64%), Adults 18-49 (+69%) and young Adults 18-34 (+77%).

In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+9%) and young Adults 18-34 (+6%) during broadcast prime.

UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax among Total Viewers 2+ (+80%), Adults 18-49 (+158%) and more than double the young Adults 18-34 (+159%).
