Last Week, Univision Ranked as the No. 5 Broadcast Network Among Adults 18-49

Week of February 8, 2016 to February 14, 2016

Last week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among Adults 18-49. Also, Univision saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 (+4% and +2%, respectively) and out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on three nights among young Adults 18-34.

Airing M-TH 8pm, “Antes Muerta Que Lichita” (I’d Rather be Dead Than Ordinary) averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 832,000 Adults 18-49 and 358,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing M-TH 9pm, “Pasión y Poder” (Passion and Power) averaged 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 480,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing M-F 10pm, “El Hotel de los Secretos” (The Hotel of Secrets) averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 894,000 Adults 18-49 and 354,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Friday, special coverage of the Pope’s Mexico visit, “Llegada de su Santidad Francisco a Mexico,” helped Univision rank as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 for the entire evening, outperforming ABC and FOX. The special, airing 8-10pm, averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 969,000 Adults 18-49 and 411,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Saturday, Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC in both demographics.

  • Airing 6-9:31pm, “Papa Francisco Misa” averaged 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 564,000 Adults 18-49 and 234,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing 9:31-11pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+17% to 1.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+9% to 536,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+5% to 214,000).
  • Univision’s entire Saturday prime line-up ranked among the top 10 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday…

  • Airing 7-8pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 1.6 million).
  • Airing 8-10pm, the Gran Estreno movie “No Eres Tu Soy Yo” experienced growth over last week’s “Divina Confusion” among Total Viewers 2+ (+64% to 1.5 million), Adults 18-49 (+75% to 693,000) and young Adults 18-49 (+66% to 280,000).
  • At 10pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 1.5 million), Adults 18-49 (+7% to 675,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+17% to 278,000).
  • Univision’s entire Sunday prime line-up ranked among the top 20 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
