Week of December 28, 2015 to January 3, 2016

Last week (M-SU), Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights among young Adults 18-34. Univision experienced week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+6%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+19%). Also, Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network for the week among Adults 18-49.

Airing M-F 8pm, “Antes Muerta Que Lichita” (I’d Rather be Dead than Ordinary) helped Univision rank as the No. 2 network in the time period among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX. The show saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 2.0 million), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 924,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+25% to 428,000).

Airing M-F 9pm, “Pasión y Poder” (Passion and Power) helped Univision rank as the No. 2 network in the time period among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX. The show saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 2.1 million), Adults 18-49 (+16% to 983,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+19% to 438,000).

Airing M-F 10pm, “Yo No Creo En Los Hombres” (I Don’t Trust Men) helped Univision rank as the No. 3 network in the time period among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming CBS and NBC in each demographic. The show saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 2.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 1.1 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+24% to 496,000).

On Saturday, “Sabadazo” helped Univision rank as the No. 3 network for the evening among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC, CBS and FOX. The show averaged 971,000 Total Viewers 2+, 473,000 Adults 18-49 and 221,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday, Univision’s full primetime lineup ranked within the top 20 programs for the entire evening among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

  • At 7pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 1.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (+3% to 702,000).
  • At 8pm, the season premiere of “Parodiando” averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 798,000 Adults 18-49 and 303,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Finally at 10pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+5% to 245,000).
