Univision Network Ranked as No. 1 Among Young Adults 18-34 For the Second Consecutive Week

Last week (M-SU) marked the second consecutive week Univision Network ranked No. 1 and No. 3 in primetime, respectively, among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) every night this past week among young Adults 18-34.

Versus the same week last year, Univision reported +4% more young Adults 18-34.

“Amores con Trampa” (Fooled Into Love) helped make Univision the No. 2 network during the 8pm hour among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC, CBS and NBC. The novela saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+4% to 554,000).

Airing Monday to Friday 9pm-10pm, “Lo Imperdonable” (The Unforgivable) helped make Univision the No. 2 network during the 9pm hour among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX. The novela saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+3% to 525,000).

At 10pm, the premiere week of “Yo No Creo En Los Hombres” (I Don’t Trust Men) helped make Univision the No. 3 network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS and NBC. The novela averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 856,000 Adults 18-49 and 413,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Thursday, hosted by Ninel Conde, William Levy, Alejandra Espinoza and El Dasa, the 12th annual edition of the youth awards show “Premios Juventud”…

  • Averaged 3.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 million Adults 18-49 and 1.1 million young Adults 18-34.
  • Positioned Univision as the No. 1 network for the night among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
  • Ranked as the No. 1 and No. 2 program for the evening, respectively, among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

On Saturday, “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) helped make Univision the No. 1 and No. 2 network, respectively, young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC, NBC and FOX in each demographic. The show saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 1.7 million), Adults 18-49 (+35% to 687,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+33% to 314,000).

For the second consecutive Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 1 network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. Univision’s full primetime lineup ranked within the top 5 programs for the entire evening among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

  • Mexico faced Costa Rica in the most viewed Copa Oro match in the tournament-to-date, averaging 4.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.7 million Adults 18-49 and 1.3 million young Adults 18-34. Simulcast on UDN from 7:31-10:29pm, the match was the No. 1 program for the evening among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
  • “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now) helped make Univision the No. 1 network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 in the 10:30pm time period. The show averaged 3.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 million Adults 18-49 and 787,000 young Adults 18-34.
