MIAMI – MAY 1, 2015 – Univision Network’s hit morning show “Despierta América” threw itself a Disney-themed party today when it turned 18. Highlights of the anniversary show, which airs daily at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT (6:00 a.m. Central), included William Valdés spending a day as a Walt Disney World cast member before setting the audience on fire with his debut as a soloist with the song “Más.”
Francisca Lachapel, who was crowned the winner of the 9th season of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty), made her first visit to Walt Disney World with a VIP tour by “Despierta América” reporter Paola Gutiérrez. Meanwhile, Noel Torres, Regional Mexican singer of “Me Interesas,” teamed up with Mariachi Divas and the show correspondent Luis Sandoval to do a little bit of everything at Disneyland to be part of their new parade.
In Orlando, Regional Mexican artist Roberto Tapia sang his recent single “Dónde Estarás,” and reggaeton sensation Tony Dize wowed the audience with “Ruleta Rusa.”
“Despierta América” news reporter Satcha Pretto’s 9-month-old son, baby Bruce, was another first-time visitor to the Magic Kingdom, where he had an unforgettable meeting with a certain well-known mouse.
To top off the morning’s festivities, “Despierta América” co-hosts Alan Tacher, Alejandro Chabán, Johnny Lozada, Karla Martínez, Ximena Córdoba, and reporter Maity Interiano made the dream of 18 young fans a reality by granting their wish of being princesses for the day.

MIAMI – 1° DE MAYO, 2015 – El popular programa matutino de la Cadena Univision “Despierta América” celebró a lo grande sus 18 años con una fiesta de tema Disney. El programa se transmite diariamente a las 7:00 a.m. hora del Este/Pacífico (6:00 a.m. Centro), y entre lo más destacado de la celebración fue ver a William Valdés haciéndose pasar uno de los personajes de Walt Disney World antes de sorprender al público con su debut como solista con la canción “Más”.
Francisca Lachapel, la ganadora de la corona de la 9° temporada de “Nuestra Belleza Latina” realizó su primera visita a Walt Disney World en un recorrido especial por la reportera de “Despierta América” Paola Gutiérrez. Mientras tanto, Noel Torres, cantante de la música regional mexicana con su tema “Me Interesas”, se unió a las Mariachi Divas y al corresponsal del programa Luis Sandoval para hacer de todo un poco en Disneyland en Los Ángeles y ser parte de su nuevo desfile.

La reportera de noticias de “Despierta América” Satcha Pretto trajo a Bruce, su bebé de 9 meses, para que visitara por primera vez el reino mágico de Disney, donde tuvo un encuentro inolvidable con un ratoncito muy conocido.
Para culminar las festividades de la mañana, los copresentadores de “Despierta América” Alan Tacher, Alejandro Chabán, Johnny Lozada, Karla Martínez, Ximena Córdoba y la reportera Maity Interiano le realizaron el sueño a 18 pequeñas fanáticas cumpliéndoles el deseo de convertirse en princesas por un día.
