February Sweep-to-Date, UniMás is the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network During Weekend Primetime, Out-Delivering Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of February 16, 2015 to February 22, 2015

February Sweep-to-date, UniMás is the No. 2 Spanish-language network during weekend primetime, out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+45%), Adults 18-49 (+43%) and young Adults 18-34 (+57%). In fact, this marks the fourth consecutive weekend that UniMás surpassed Telemundo with Total Viewers 2+ (+44%), Adults 18-49 (+32%) and young Adults 18-34 (+44%).

  • Furthermore, during the current 14/15 season, UniMás is the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo among both Adults 18-49 (+3%) and young Adults 18-34 (+2%).
  • UniMás out-delivered Telemundo for the seventh consecutive Saturday night among Total Viewers 2+ (+98%) and Adults 18-49 (+94%).  On Saturday night, UniMás also delivered more than double the young Adults 18-34 (+142%) compared to Telemundo. UniMás’ entire primetime movie lineup, including the Cantinflas film “El Padrecito” followed by “Turbulent Skies,” outperformed Telemundo’s entire prime lineup with the aforementioned demographics.
  • UniMás held its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the fourth consecutive Sunday night, surpassing Telemundo with Total Viewers 2+ (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+2%).

UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+42%) and young Adults 18-34 (+71%).

Airing Monday-Friday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., UniMás’ feature films grew its audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+32% to 626,000), Adults 18-49 (+34% to 355,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+29% to 156,000).

During the 9 p.m. hour (Monday-Friday), UniMás’ dramatic series “Tiro de Gracia” built its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 560,000), Adults 18-49 (+24% to 348,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+22% to 155,000).

Week-to-week, UniMás’ 10 p.m. dramatic series “La Esquina del Diablo” grew its young Adults 18-34 audience by +3% (to 69,000).
