Nuestra Belleza Latina (NBL) 2018 returns to the Univision Network for its 11th season with an unconventional theme: “No sizes, no limits, no excuses.”
This year, the reality competition will highlight the participant’s talent, charisma and personality and include women of all sizes and ages.
Nuestra Belleza Latina announced plus-size model, activist, and single mother Denise Bidot as one of this season’s four judges. She will also head NBL-U, the training center where contestants will be coached and prepared for a career in broadcasting.
Bidot’s participation in NBL 2018 will be her first appearance on a Spanish-language reality TV show. She is a Latin-Arab Miami native, recognized as a pioneer of the body positivity movement. As the first plus-size model to walk multiple runways during New York Fashion Week and as founder of the “No Wrong Way Movement,” she encourages women all over the world to embrace their unique beauty and individuality.
The NBL winner will have the opportunity to become a Univision on-screen media star.
