The Wrap: Ratings: Univision Awards Show ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’ Runs Runner-Up to NBC’s Olympics

CBS repeats sink ABC’s “Bachelor” programming, including “Winter Games” finale

Univision earned a rare silver medal in the key TV ratings demographic on Thursday, airing its 30th “Premio Lo Nuestro” awards show. NBC’s Pyeongchang Olympics again earned gold outright.

CBS reruns dropped ABC’s original “Bachelor” programming, which included the two-hour season finale to “Bachelor Winter Games.”

NBC was first in ratings with a 3.4 rating/13 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 14.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. The Olympic Games ran throughout primetime.

Univision was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and third in viewers with 3.1 million. The Spanish-language network aired its Latin Music celebration through the entire day part, averaging those numbers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.0/4 and in viewers with 5.7 million, running just repeats.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 3 million. The “Bachelor: Winter Games” finale from 8-10 p.m. received a 0.8/3 and 3.2 million viewers. A “Bachelor Winter Games: World Tells All” special at 10 had a 0.6/3 and 2.7 million viewers.

Fox and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Fox was fifth in total viewers with 1.7 million, airing reruns; Telemundo was sixth with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 840,000, running repeats.
