The Battle for a Spot in the Final Kicks Off with Liverpool vs. Villareal (4/26) and Manchester City vs. Real Madrid (4/27)

April 20, 2022 – TUDN, the home of soccer, continues its successful coverage of the UEFA Champions League bringing a thrilling Semifinal round as the top four European clubs, Manchester City, Real Madrid CF, Villarreal CF and Liverpool FC, battle for a spot in the Final. The action kicks off Tuesday, April 26 at 2 p.m. ET on Univision and TUDN with Manchester City facing Real Madrid CF.
TUDN recently delivered the 3rd best UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal rating of all time on any network in the US regardless of language, when Univision’s broadcast of Real Madrid vs. Chelsea brought 1 million viewers, outperforming the same match telecast on other networks.
The Semifinals will be decided in two legs, with the first two matches taking place next week:
Manchester City FC vs. Real Madrid CF (Tuesday, 4/26 at 2 p.m. ET; Univision and TUDN)
- Led by world talent like Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, and wunderkind Phil Foden, the star-studded Citizens will host the 13-time UCL Champions in a clash of European titans. Leading Los Merengueswill be a superb Karim Benzema. The second leg of this game will take place on May 4th.
Liverpool FC vs. Villareal CF (Wednesday, 4/27 at 2 p.m. ET; Univision and TUDN)
- After stunning the soccer world by eliminating Bayern Munich in the previous round, Villarreal will now face Liverpool at Anfield. The second leg will take place on May 3rd.
